--FAQs for Robinhood--
Visit the website first - www.robinhood.com
If you're not into robinhood - http://www.stockbrokers.com/offers
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
> If I have Robinhood do I need to worry about 'Free riding' violations?
No, its not applicable for limited margin accounts (instant), and if you don't have instant, RH won't let you buy with unsettled funds
> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?
Yes, download an android emulator. Setup is extremely easy. http://www.memuplay.com/

Guys I've been lurking these threads for a few weeks now and I just want to say that I think it's in your best interest if you don't buy into the stocks mentioned here. I'm still a beginner like I'm sure a lot of you are, but I keep seeing you guys telling everyone to buy some shitty penny stock because you think it's going to go up. I can't help but feel like your wishful thinking is screwing a lot of beginners who don't know any better. You might make a lot of money really quickly if you get lucky, but chances are you're going to lose a lot. I would just recommend researching stocks on your own instead of buying things because you really want them to go up.

Disclaimer: I don't know anything

The only question is if it will go up sooner than later but it will go up without a doubt it's not going to go back to it's 2-3 dollar days. Ok, thanks for the ideas. I'll return to the robinhood thread in the next day or two with a proper post name and a series of chart reading tips and (mostly) daily tips. I'll ignore any bullshit and just keep posting.

FWIW, I know a lot of ppl go to investopedia, keep in mind they are owned by IAC and actually employ Ms. Chelsea Clinton as a director. Don't believe me? Look that shit up. If u value your investments, don't listen to them too much because they likely value your investments even more than you and sometimes gear their definitions to game advice so people make repeat mistakes. Be careful who you trust.

No one responded to my post, but if some noob did come along and take my advice at face value without doing further research on their own before investing, the deserve to lose every penny.

Also, if said noob did act upon my "wishful thinking" they would be up 13% today, so there is that too.

Ha! At last I truly see! I am used to tripfags and country flags, usually disregard ids. I have been here for only a few months now, but my $225 is growing very nicely based off of information first gathered in Robinhood threads.
I think the challenge is figuring out who is advocating a certain penny stock to capitalize on volatility and profiting from swings, who is advocating stock in an attempt to pump and dump, who is advocating stock to hold for long term, and who is just shilling their asses off to get someone else to be the bag holder.

Honestly too many years on 4chan has made it really easy to pick out the last one, and with even an ounce of research you can divine which of the other 3 a certain stock should be yourself. I think the amount of people on here advocating for long term hold of nearly any stock discussed on here is few and far between. IMO penny stocks are great to reliably day trade and profit off them morning dips and should be treated as such.

forgot muh link
http://www.insidermonkey.com/blog/answering-two-most-important-questions-surrounding-ampio-pharmaceuticals-inc-ampe-462760/

>Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEMKT:AMPE) has recently reported topline from its PIVOT trial and the stock lost over 60% on the announcement last Thursday.

>What are the chances of the FDA giving its candidate the green light, and by proxy, what are the chances an allocation at the current discounted price would turn out to be a rewarding exposure?

>The first, the chances look OK. The FDA will be fully aware of the limited options grade 4 KL patients have available to them right now, and it wouldn’t be the first time the agency gives a drug the green light despite low efficacy. In short, what’s it got to lose by doing so? To answer the second question, again, pretty good. Of course, if Ampio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NYSEMKT:AMPE) goes for the trimmed down target population, but analysis suggest late stage OA still occurs in around 10% of healthy weight US adults over 60 and up to 35% in obese US adults over 60, so there’s still plenty of patients to go at.

>The company is set to discuss the findings on a conference call early next week, so we might get a bit more info then. Beyond that, a discussion with the FDA, and the resulting actions from that discussion, look to be the major near term milestones.

Might be worth further research and watch-listing.

Everything I have now is long. CERU will pay off but I might have to wait months for it to happen. The thing is for the general purposes of these threads folks are after quick bucks and long term strategies just don't do for good thread conversation.

"Fuck yeah! I just bough MO and just waiting for that sweet dividend cash to roll in in a couple of months. Plus that sweet constant growth! See you faggots at the end of the year with my 20% gains! HELL YEAH!"

And because when I make a market sell/buy it doesn't come out always to what i click sell or buy at, I'm guessing the limit feature will also have the variance of being a fraction of a penny, or a whole penny off, which scares me when i sell penny stocks on margin, but I get over it.
