Another post to bump the thread: what are you guys' experience with BAT Ads so far? Some notes I have:

>1. When I first started getting BAT Ads, I was clicking through most (if not all) of them because they were legitimately interesting

>2. After getting the same Ads over and over, I haven't been clicking them much anymore, I pretty much just close them

>3. If I see any new Ads that interest me I'll probably click them again, especially if companies start doing cool/eye-catching graphics with their landing pages

>4. Need more Ads/companies/genres (besides crypto ads), all of which will hopefully start coming in the next year

Honestly though even when the ads pop up and you just hit close, it's a better system for the advertisers than users straight up blocking their ads via adblock or purposely ignoring any ads. Lots of possibilities for advertisers if they start paying attention.

agreed, it all adds up — you don’t look at your “Brave Payments” screen after every Ad you get, but after a few days you look at it and boom you’ve got 5 BAT. That’s cool. It’s almost like a mini-game while browsing, like farming in WoW or something. Feels good man.

I have had a similar experience

I get a small dopamine hit when its something new knowing im going to get paid and the ad might be interesting. Also i have accumulated just over $2 in the past few days. Might donate it or hold on to it to pay for a vpn in the future.
