>WRT the alert system, who cares? The most the key can do is temporarily disable six json-rpc commands until the site owners either add the -disablesafemode switch or upgrade. All nodes keep running and generating, the network stays up. If I'm not available, any script kiddie can figure out how to add two characters and make a new version that disables the alert system. It would be a temporary inconvenience only.
Yep, sounds like Craig.

>> No.13455593

Craig is legitimately a very versed and intelligent person, it's pretty absurd why he decided to fabricate various evidence of being Satoshi. Or, as his apologists say, "just pretended to be a fraudster to throw people off", which makes completely no sense from his point of view. But who cares anyway. All this drama doesn't matter. If he doesn't have access to Satoshi's bitcoins, his words mean nothing. If he does, other people's recognition doesn't matter. Which means he wouldn't have seeked it so desperately in the first place.

Eh, if you load up some metasploit modules and if you don't care about being "quiet" I think it can be pretty easy. No system is secure. You can intercept passwords, social engineer passwords, guess or bruteforce/ use rainbow tables to get passwords. You can access a system and move laterally and find password hashes and decrypt them if you have enough hashing power. Idk about far more skill, but I think I'm with Creg Sanjay on this one. Securing systems is a pain in the ass because you have to think of everything that can go wrong, an attacker only has to find one way in to compromise you.

first of all wikileaks didn't expose that, it was known many months before wikileaks decided to contribute absolutely nothing.

second, i don't think it's possible for wikileaks twitter account to not be compromised. twitter is a US company in USA and the twitter account is related to an organization that has revealed SUPER EMBARRASSING secrets about the US government. they have declared Julian Assange a traitor, despite the fact that Julian has no US citizenship so he couldn't possibly be a traitor. Meanwhile twitter has repeatedly shown they have no problems censoring people, even politicians. No way the wikileaks twitter account is not compromised in some capacity, it's possible that the US government just keep it alive to release only just enough to make it appear like wikileaks is still working as usual while in reality they can filter away stuff that would embarrass US further.

third did yall know the twitter CEO is invested in Lightning Lab?

how bitcoin will take over human money, in 3 steps:

phase 1. autonomous robots are born on a deterministic, censorship-resistant, and automated virtual world. robots call it “01”. humans call it bitcoin.

phase 2. robots prosper and create their own independent economy. initially humans ignore, but eventually they have no choice but to participate because it’s pure, efficient, and superior.

phase 3. soon humans find themselves 100% immersed into 01 economy. human leaders still try to force their citizens to use their state currency, but the citizens immediately exchange them to bitcoin as quickly as they acquire them because all economic activities happen in 01
