Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I don't care about making a lot of money in the short term or comparing myself to other people (at least when it comes to the stock market), I just stick my money in what I like and hodl
I gravitate to biotech because I'm a Neuroscience major (undergrad) and like science/biology

Hope you guys bought PYX after my recommendation yesterday. If not, don't worry as there's more to be made elsewhere.

BIOS is at accumulation range. Buy and hold, buy more if it drops. I would throw in 25% now and 25% if it drops 10 cents, then throw in the rest if it drops 10 more cents. Go all in if it hasn't dropped 10 cents in 3 days.

Buy EA short term calls. Short term meaning a minimum of 1 week and maximum of 2 months. Do not buy expiry for this week.

Buy INNT, stocks and calls. Earnings next week and bullish engulfing. Should be a good pop from earnings and should continue to rise for a while beyond that. Buy in now at the ground floor.

XSPA stock. Xpresspa is at a good price point to buy in. They have a proven business model and there's rumor they are going to expand.

WAITR - BUY THIS SHIT. The owner is Tillman Fertitta and this dude doesn't accept failure. Grubhub, DoorDash, ubereats... They'll all soon be at the mercy of WAITR

SNAP puts/shorts - earnings this week is gon cash this trash. Thots are moving on, dudes won't use it without Thots, it's a dying brand like MySpace.

Look at short interest on LCI since i've been talking about it.. the short interest went from around 50% to 74%

If you don't understand a short squeeze then please lurk more. These types of things take awhile... accumulate while shorts are selling hold high while they're buying... always hold a core.

not all of them, some of them are slow squeezes.. it all depends on the size of the company. I try to get in both nano cap squeezes and small cap squeezes. I like the slow and steady squeeze over time though because I can work my way into a position and then swing it on the way up and sell options around a core.. Short squeezes on Nano caps that happen overnight are fun but it's hard to catch them with a good position imo..

>>13409725
>But I forgot that borrowing shares means having to pay interest on those shares.
Pretty soon on LCI they will get tired of paying the interest. Imo they haven't covered yet because they can't.. no big money is selling to them and thats whos holding the stock... very interesting play.

The situation is a bit special since what they leaked this time isn't user data (it would have been no problem if that was the case, when it come to a Chinese company, even if we are talking about clear text password), instead they leaked their entire back end's source code, and people figured out various thongs from those source code, lile how they are using clear text password, how they hard-coded api keys and thousands line of sensitive word into source codes, how they publish fake popularity and viewership count for different videos just like what others Chinese platforms are doing, and etc and so on. There are no immediate impact to the website's operations just based on these leaks, however it is possible that attackers might be able to discover vulnerability via these leaked sources in the future and use them to attack the website.
As for the lack of western headlines, I am not sure about why, in the past few months since bilibili listed onto the market, it always seems like most news related to the website operation are not being reported on any western media, no matter positive or negative. As such I would say it's probably not a good idea to invest into them if you don't also know Chinese

I have a question about maximum favorable excursion and trade recording terminology if anyone could help. I know that maximum favorable and maximum adverse excursions are defined strictly as components of a trade meaning they "turn on" when you enter a trade and "turn off" when you exit a trade. That is, if you follow the strict definition, they're not things that tell you "good thing you got out there because it kept running against you!" or "it's too bad you got out there, because you would have made 4x what you did!"

My question is: are there trading terms to measure what the trade did AFTER you exited either at a win or loss that gives you information like "hey your stops are too close/far on average" or "hey you're taking profits too soon." How exactly would you define those terms (when do they "turn on/off")? MFE is the most profitable point of the trade BEFORE you exited. MAE is the biggest deficit the trade was in BEFORE you exited. How would you record a trade that you got in at say 25.00/share, exited at 25.25/share and it just kept going and going up to a high of 25.75 before falling back down?

Honestly I'm only spooked on this one because it's 25% of my active trading account right now. Only made $60 but if it tanks I'm in big trouble.

My bull thesis is about apple cash and the new credit card. Apple card is currently still being tested, so it won't be reflected in upcoming earnings.

Many analysts seem to like it, but Schwab gives it an F valuation, F for sentiment, and a "Strongly Underperform" rating. (B for quality though?)

For anyone who thinks buying ETFs is a giant meme:
I liquidated all my assets @ October last year to make a purchase, and then with some leftover cash I decided to put all my eggs into SPY, buying at least 1 share per month, sometimes more if expenses allow it.
My buys have been as follows:
3 shares @ 265.76 (NOV 18)
1 share @278.49 (DIC 18)
1 share @248.06 (JAN 19)
2 shares @270.66 (FEB 19)
2 shares @280.72 (MAR19)
2 shares @285.62 (APR 1 19)
3 shares @289.7 (APR 20 19)
Total investment = 3866.93 USD
Total portfolio value = 4393.16 USD
AVG share price = 276.21 USD
Total gains so far = 526.23 (13% from total investment)

Yeah, I know, 13% hurr durr - but keep in mind this is only extra cash I can spend and this requires literally ZERO maintenance on my end, coupled with the fact that I have my account on Robin Hood means I save on commissions.

Even if the recession hits, I can most certainly keep my shares as this has all been excess cash I've had over the last couple of months.
Be patient, anons. Long term is always best term. We are all going to make it.

Also, this is my RH portfolio. Seems like I am doing kinda ok, but maybe i should listen to some faggots on the internet instead.

No real time anything.
No price improvement.
RH scalps money off your orders
RH doesn't pay you any interest
RH literally doxxes you in exchange for letting you keep your own money
RH treats all of their clients like little fucking retards, severely limits everything they do, and fucks you out of every opportunity they can>
RH rejects orders randomly
RH makes up arbitrary rules in the middle of the night
RH has no one available to talk to at all. (You) have to wait to receive a boilerplate response from some retard they hired off of craigslist to email you back.
And the list goes on for miles...

I tell you what, Anon. I'll trade you my big nickel for your tiny dime. You apparently go for these types of deals already.

I suppose a child would prefer a better hand-holding experience, so I would grant you that (((charles schwab & co))) still have a market.
