1 blue party hat is now worth $2800 USD to buy. That same party hat could be bought in 2006 for about $300. This is just some digital centralized pixels in a virtual game that's been slowly dying - and yet - so long as the game exists the price of the fucking hats are going to keep rising.

This is what makes Bitcoin so powerful. It's decentralized nature makes it both secure and nearly immortal (aside from Quantum Computing shenanigans...). So long as a) Bitcoin continues to be deflationary in the long term and b) Bitcoin to continues the exist in the long term, it's going to continue going up in price forever.
