CLC's marketplace is a very good idea, but it's also centralized, meaning also worthless, until they find a way to make it decentralized. I don't think either CL team or LP will compete with them on this. Really exciting to see the ecosystem develop.

This doctor is inviting him to a BBQ despite not knowing him personally at all, so when the cancer inevitably returned the guy would trust the doctors and come back in for more chemo. The doctor acted all nice and invited him to a BBQ as a business decision to get the patient to trust him when he would need more so the doctor could make more money obviously.

I've rubbed shoulders with a lot of doctors and psychologists, it's just where my family wound up. And it all reeks of manipulation. Treatments are simply passed down to practitioners from the top, which is great when you have GREAT people at the top, like in the early days of modern medicine. But like the rest of the world, the people at the top are just shareholders now.

Every visit I make to a GP or specialist, I take the opportunity to have a chat with them. The young ones are bright and full of ideas, anecdotes, observations and notes. They really love the thought of contributing to medicine, all bright eyed and bushy tailed. After a few years, the light goes out and they realize that they have become nothing more than a dispensary and that any discussion that is 'outside the box' simply puts their job in jeopardy.
