Actually kind of impressed. The big channels and publishers are starting to pile in now and BAT will be the first crypto that millions of normies hold. Just let that sink in.

same, I was pretty skeptical of BATs potential for most of its existence simply for the reason that brave is pretty lackluster and probably going nowhere

after this shit though, i am starting to accumulate... spent my wagebucks on 1k bat... looks like another week of rice and beans for me. wew

>> No.13333844

Wow this is it. BATs being setup for the new Web3. YouTube channels, user profiles, websites etc will soon have a monitized metric for user attention in the form of BAT. Also big advertisers will be buying ad campaigns. The potential for this is huge a multi billion even a trillion dollar market cap doesn't even seem out of the question

have any of you read the white paper? it says the price is designed to be steady ie it’s never going to make you rich.

>> No.13334841

>>13334663
>they used the word "stable" that means it's going to stay the same price forever

What happens if 3 billion dollars (conservative estimate-that's 1/5th of ETH) goes into the purchase of 1.5 billion BAT tho.

You should be able to answer the question if you've read the white paper yourself; feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because I admit I don't have the best reading comprehension when it comes to technical stuff.

I don't believe that there's any apparatus in place that will prevent the token from increasing in value or "stabilizing", perhaps other than the fact that unused BAT that's earned directly through the browser is burned in six months time (I think?) if it's not cashed out or used. So long as the BAT isn't burned in great amounts (which would essentially represent a rejection of the system entirely) it should retain its speculative value (that which is created by advertisers purchasing BAT to run in-browser ads as well as through direct investment) and increase in value proportionally to the amount of advertisers, whales, hodlers and normies that are participating in the ecosystem. BAT is among the only cryptos that could potentially be a household name within 5 years, and your job now is to do the needful and get in on this sh*t before it's too late, sir.
