What's the point of gaining freedom from wage slavery if we are still slaves to our bodies. The physical and mental urges that order you to do this and do that. There is no true freedom, just a different colored cage.

It takes us back to the question of free will, and the materialistic stance appears to be the most intuitive answer. You do not really have choice in anything, because you're an automaton that's already hardwired in many ways to act in the way it does. This also involves genetics, past experience, knowledge, etc. But all of that is already there and will inevitably make decisions for you in some largely predetermined fashion. Quantum mechanics add a random element, but that is unlikely to make a difference with respect to free will.
