so heres the scoop. I was just in a massage parlor in Latvia (the happy ending type with eastearn european thots), the Xbase CEO was there. Was drunk, not surprisingly. Asked him about his rolex, he said he bought it with "crypto" says it's been quite good to him all year, said that ICO scams are coming back.
Basically, I asked him how much it cost to put together an ICO. He said, quite cheap. All you need is some mobile dev company (preferrably the ukraine or india as they are cheapest) to put together an okay website and exchange mockup and a smart contract to take incoming ETH. The rest is simple, don't even need to use a real address, can even steal someone elses logo, pic related.
I asked if he was afraid that he would get caught for exposing his real face. The answer was, not really as he earned so much money from the ICO and dumping on idex that he hasn't got a fear in the world
