Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I was placing orders on June and Coctober $4 and $5 calls. Start low (IE for the 4$ calls you obviously have to pay at least $1) and increase bids by 0.05 or 0.10. Of course I'm not going to over-pay, I just put the buys out there until I get to a conservative price. There are so few options that it doesn't really matter, it's just that most of them are invisible to RH.
Also when buying these low volume options it really is like a binary lottery ticket: of course I'm 99% not going to be able to sell the calls I got, I'm holding to exercise.

We'll see if any of the other calls get written for me through the day. but it does mean that a couple yang of my RH buying power are gone just because of their interface, until I go back and cancel all the lower orders

Saturated investments that are inflated upon speculation of prospected growth deserve reevaluations and corrections as market sentiment returns to the mean. As the quality and sheer number of growth vehicles diminish the end result will always be a decrease in price for even though we have a lower supply, the demand has changed diagonally. Instead of looking for any vehicle, speculation begins to give way to results. While this gives us an extra layer depth to our game, our goals of selling anything now for more than it will be worth in a set time frame, and only purchasing cheapies for cheapest we can in our time frame can provide the results we desire. Accumulating more capital and getting a higher score.

Baggie wrote that disinformation and sheer ignorance can drive a heard into a conglomerate of bad decisions, the most important thing to consider before entering any position on the market is ones own goals. While having the goal of buying high and selling low is always going to be the standard for which every trade must be judged, it is very important to have a clear, concise end to point to every beginning. I think this part means just like my brother, nothing lasts forever and it's important to have a clear picture of both entry and exit. If the goal isn't clear, just move on so you're not forcing anything. If you have no clear end, you will never achieve what you're looking for. Emotions, those which kill rational thought and judgement, will cloud the picture and create situations where there is a deviation from buying cheapies and selling bags.

My view on shiny rocks is complicated, here's something
You can see clearly gold had bull markets that correlate with events in economy. My #1 reason to hold gold is monetary policies of modern times. Every time easing or other forms of money printing are engaged gold responds, you should also look up gold price vs FED balance on official stats site it's quite interesting correlation there too. As for exit there are 2 options. First is we go into some sort of cashless society because we'll print ourselves to death in terms of modern monetary system, my argument for this is Basel 3, mountain Jews (Swiss (((bankers))) ) made gold 0 risk asset since April 1st 2019 for banks around the world , why would you give gold same status as currencies in good times?? Second option is far less doomish, picrel is oil and index measured in gold, we should not care about value in USD since every currency in world steadily loses purchasing power so if you measure SP in gold instead of dollars you can come up with exit out of gold into productive asset, USD price is irrelevant here, chart clearly says that compared to index gold is cheap and I like to buy undervalued stuff.

My brother would definitely be buying volatility here. With the fresh wikileaks that'll be published in light of Mr. Assenge's arrest we will see big boys looking for hedges creating a run on market volatility. To put it another way, if you were net short the market yesterday, would today convince you to be net long? We are definitely never seeing an ATH ever again.

The entire market should have crashed when the Green New Deal was pimped by Democrats then.

That seems excessively jumpy even for this market. Bernie doesn't have the nomination, was rigged against him last time just like it will be this time, and he's a moron anyway that couldn't get that passed. 70% of Wall Street thinks Trump will win too.

But somehow you're probably right since the media would blackout that headline.

I don't actually know the 'professional' answer to this one.

I think the 'best' would be to do your own extensive research, IE spreadsheet all the S&P DivCrats and weight them based on your own criteria. Make your own ETF.

besides that, DVY and SCHD have the same sort of outlook. But if you don't want to do the legwork, just buy NOBL and pay the fees.
