What are some ways programmers can make passive income?

>> No.13265327

Write a program that deposits the sub-cent fractions rounded off at businesses and banks into your account.

>> No.13265337

>Make games, put ads on games
>Make web apps, charge for premium version
>Resell hosting to clients
>Scale work and hire codemonkeys to do the labor

I'm also a programmer and searching for cool ideas.

With a high-income job like software, it's a no-brainer to go all-in on investments. So, dividend growth investing, real estate, or even a humble index fund would be the best way for passive income.

I love how programmers think they're smart but are actual retards and can't function without some sort of reference material.

Take a break from googling your code syntax and instead why don't you google 'passive income' (note: you won't find good resources on w3schools like everything else in your life). This question has been asked by millions of people and has been answered by millions more. This board isn't ask jeeves you stupid ass

Your word vs. his
Given how stupid he is I wouldn't be surprised if he's a professional computer instruction writer. I can tell you're a programmer of sorts as well since you seem to be triggered by how I'm disparaging programmers. programming was a job for chicks. Neck yourself

He's kinda right. Back when these things were still programmed by punch cards half the staff was women. It got absolutely male dominated only beyond the initial phase.

I feel like she would have looked a lot better with her natural hair instead of making it cum colored for whatever reason. Everyone wants to be some nordic princess, but in her case her skin tone's too dark. If she worked with her limitations instead of against them she would have been much better off, but then again those are probably fake titties and the whole picture is photoshopped to shit so it's whatever.

Just meant most of the rare cases were doing exactly that back then. Some of the heads were those exactly those cases. Although the best elite autist was still a guy. I'm honestly disappointed by my modern peers. The smartest people i got to know went into doing some dumb shit like study history & archeology. Complete waste of their brains.

>passive income

It's like being a writer. You write a book and it gets sold again and again. You can write a program and it gets sold again and again. But it isn't passive income because you had to put work in to get it to work in the first place.

>> No.13267083

that's everything. Important factor of passive income is it continues to make money unlike a job that stops giving money the moment you quit it.

>> No.13267120

>>13265313
>What are some ways programmers can make passive income?
Build a product and sell it. Ideally a SaaS that takes a half a year to a year to get to professional level and then charge 10-20 bucks/person/month. Look at Balsamiq for inspiration, the guy has blogs where he describes how he started the company. The most important things to succeed are: skills + niche + dedication

If you dont have that youre better off at your megacorp
