>Bitcoin investor: I've got two data points and if I draw a straight line between them, it shows a 10x return over three years.
>Bitcoin community: Well clearly you should extrapolate that to infinity.

That's a 2.1 trillion market cap assuming all bitcoin was mined and in circulation. The world currently has 217 trillion dollars in circulation plus 1.2 quadrillion in cultures traded. That puts 100k btc at less than .. 02% of the total economic market. Not really that hard to grasp actually.

Futures not cultures.
Also assumes btc is all available and not lost. Considering satoshi wallet has 1m in it and might not get dumped... That's a near 5% discount to that figure.

Truly a genius move by the bankers. Then they begin moving btc in to piss poor economic regions while fudding it in developed countries... Genius plays.

Look up 'HODL Waves'. A good amount of BTC (20% ish) lives in UTXOs that have not been spent in 5+ years, and are probably lost.
