It's not really a meme, but at the moment you are limited to a couple of things that are already overly saturated.

Plus, you will also meet a lot of insufferable rich kids from Europe and North America who call themselves Digital Nomads, but they're just one bad decision away from messing up their entire lives back at home (financially speaking).

It's becoming a meme now because so many people label themselves as being one, and they are the fan base of people like Tai Lopez.

Every little hassle is a breeze when you come

those are literally basic life skills you described.
i was abroad for only a year but it was so much fun. two drawbacks:
1) women, end up wanting to go out every single night... plus even in the day you want to "do stuff" and no I was not anywhere in Asia.
2) I didn't work a job that requires too much internet, but the internet infrastructure was the other part that was a bit of a drawback. if i wanted to cut back on money i worked off of 3G or whatever internet dongle it was. Plus my laptop was shitty... so if I do it again have to make sure there's good internet and a decent space to work. it's a minor issue that is actually a big deal.

I did it for 7 months or so and I’m about to do it again. What people don’t realise is that there’s a lot to be said for the status quo that you’re currently in, mentally speaking. If you’re not in a good place already it will truly amplify when you’re on your own in Korea, you can’t have any jokes or banter with the locals because there’s not shared language, taxi drivers won’t pick you up because you aren’t master race (even as a white person after 12mn).

All the problems you took into this thing will come gushing out and you’ve just got to deal with them. On the whole that’s a good thing and I’m glad I went through it but when you’ve had back to back tinder rejections, can’t drink with anyone, family and friends are asleep - it will hit you.

If you’re 100% a-ok then you’ll be alright but you have a lot of stability encoded into your routine whether you know it or not and it’s worth understanding that before you go into it. A beer at a beach bar talking to the loud Aussie cunts only has so much depth.

But with that being said, it was one of the better things I’ve ever done and I’m going to do it again while being in a much fitter shape mentally and I wouldn’t know who I was to the degree I actually do if I didn’t do the first trip.

You would want to exchange away your family in order to be a rootless faggot nomad in some third world shithole?

>Working during the day.
>Not waking at 11am, enjoying your cup of coffee down by the river, taking a hike to explore the local scenery, maybe moving camp a mile or two upstream, and finally settling down to bust out a few articles around 9pm after the sun has gone down.
The tin box prison is in your mind, pleb.

if I wanted to do that, I would. that's not what I'm doing though. I would have loved the lifestyle when I was younger though, before I had a family. I was a world traveler for years, but I was a poor fag living out of a backpack. being able to live comfortably anywhere in the world for short stays sounds ideal.

Im N.E.E.T so everyday is like an ongoing vacation.

I remember working 40 hours a week and felt so much worse off mentally and physically, most of my money went towards things i never needed or used. My quality of life has improved significantly

My parents own their own home though so your mileage may vary.

You lose a lot of effectiveness when collaborating though...It's way easier to walk over to someone and have a 5 minute chat than trying to talk over something like Slack.

I don't really think money makes that much difference when travelling young and the amount of fun you can have

poorfag traveller living out of a backpack with infinite free time > remote wagecuck that exchanged the office for a coworking space and having no time to actually enjoy the new locations

What's hard to understand. I did the same thing and I felt like I grew as a person.

I went from hardcore political nut to a mellowed out laid back person
I went from nervous virgin to sexually confident and with a gf
I changed my goals in life
The new perspective on life helped me appreciate things I didn't know I had, and also to be aware of the good things other cultures have we don't
I became less "in my ways" in terms of how I thought and saw the world
Made a lot of new friends
Did a ton of cool things and gained stories I can recount to others
Made me more socially confident and experienced and more cultured
I went from being depressed about the shit state of the world, to happy that there are a lot of good places out there and the world isn't as bad as the media and internet make it out to be

All this sorta stuff is called growing as a person.

>letting a woman cuck you out of having an interesting life

I got a gf and it was fun for a few months, but then I felt like she was holding me back. I wanted to go explore the world again. So I broke up with her. Now I just fuck girls and have flings, I don't get into long term relationships, they just tie you to places. Someone who'd let themselves become tied down are just cuck faggots.

Sounds neat. What are some jobs that allow for this?
