Faggot everyone called capslockanon kept coming to biz and fudding about how bitcoin was gonna crash to $1500. Turns out he was serious about trying to short the bottom of the market and got squeezed out of his shorts. After he got squeezed, he opened a new short position and most likely got squeezed again. He's most likely killed himself by now. He was a retarded queer

I wouldn't be surprised if we get some pullbacks but I'm not great at timing the short term moves. I've already accumulated the hell out of my coin of choice. If you look at weekly and monthly charts with the bollinger bands you should be able to find some decent points to buy in at.

is it not a theory in economics that market fluctuations are based on buyer and seller emotion and you can not create a pattern that lasts forever. you could accelerate any cycle if you increase or decrease buying or selling pressure 10x

I'm aboard with this
Will btc reach 20k again? I think so
Will we see 3k before that? I also think so

As much as I wish for the rally, this one is just too fishy, 3 massive orders on 3 exchanges which are
one big order. Either it's manipulation, or some algo came out with a tipping point value at which an order of this magnitude would bring the market with it. If this same order comes back to sell at ~5k, the market will topple, and that 20k btc holder will be 20 mil in the green

All in all, starting to DCA now, two months ago, or in two months won't make a big difference for those playing the 3-5 years game

>> No.13219464

Just sold shy of 5k. Will rebuy ~2.5k for a nice ~100% gain. All indicators are screaming prices lower. With volume this low, another moderately-sized market sell could easily send this thing back down below 4k.

Fairly certain now it's not going below a double-bottom at $3100. I doubt it will even get that low.

Technicals are clearly bullish now. Above 200D MA. 20W and 10W MA bull cross.

Fundamentals and industry developments are better than ever.

Halving coming in ~14 months -- we're running out of time for another prolonged bear market before halving FOMO.

And there's this:
https://ethereumworldnews.com/report-bitcoin-wallet-activity-spiked-week-before-bull-run/

I too was hoping to buy at 2800-3100, and I still have some cash ready for that, but I am highly doubting we will see those prices again.

I agree with the fundamentals, and am a long-term bull. But frankly ~14 months is still plenty of time for us to move lower and consolidate before the halvening fomo. Looking at the chart, volume is still quite low, the last time BTC was this oversold was Dec 2018, and there are TONS of resistance levels from normies and bagholders who will sell the second they can break even. And we haven't yet seen a convincing high-volume, trend reversal candle that indicates a bottom.

And while I do have plenty of fiat waiting on the sideline for better technical price entries, I believe 3100 will not only be tested, but true capitulation will not happen until 3k support is broken and we see major buy orders step in closer to 2k. I could be wrong and we'll see, but I'm putting my money where my mouth is and have my buy orders set. Best of luck to you.

Don't need luck to HODL and DCA :)

On second thought, you're right about the halving timeframe. It does seem there's still enough time for another crash and slow recovery; it just seemed less likely to me now with this recent pump.

I disagree about sellers on the way back up just waiting to break even though.

The resistance levels are there from a TA standpoint and whales and traders will use them. But I personally strongly doubt many who've been HODLing are going to sell on the way back up, in the midst of a new bull market (not saying it's started yet BTW), just to break even. Not only would that be an extremely boring outcome for 3+ years of waiting, but FOMO will be irresistable.

My admittedly complete guess is there will be strong resistance at $10k (5 figures), and approaching the ATH.

>> No.13220840

>>13220208
Agreed. I'm finally (barely) back in the green and the thought of selling will not cross my mind until at least $10,000. And by that point it will probably be a full-on bull market with halving imminent, so thoughts of selling will probably turn to buying more instead.

OP here, based. Exactly how I felt. The charts painted an ascending triangle with a neckline of $4200, tons of untapped liquidity above $4200 from bears. We were reaching the Apex of the triangle, in hindsight we should of known. Is it possible a hedgefund saw this liquidity, and decided to take advantage of it right at the Apex? Possibly, but the fact that this information is swarming across all of mainstream posts (reddit where all the fake news and FUD goes), it tells me maybe something else is going on.

Purely technical - Supply dried up. Everyone sold at the bottom. No liquidity above. Over-leveraged shorts. Cascading stops and liquidations with nobody left to sell. Was the ascending triangle man-made, or based on human emotion? Meh I'd like to think its a bit of both.

So what now I wonder, RSI has been screaming oversold on basically a majority of the higher time frames, this is manipulated so doesn't matter really. All I can say is, after some consolidation and maybe a push down, we will get one last leg up before the descent. I really hope we can break $4200
