Not how it works. For example, I knew a general laborer that works at his job for 20 fucking years getting paid dogshit. Nice upward mobility, huh?
Even with a degree, you most likely need connections (nepotism or cronyism).
Only real options is getting a bachelors degree and hope you get lucky or starting a business and hope you get lucky. Just the being an employee requires less luck, but has less of a potential payout.
