Not sure what this image means. BTC has failed as a currency. But as a speculative asset // store of value it's great

I'll have 51.x and be stacked next weekend

>> No.13178243

I just have an auto buy for 50 bucks every two weeks. Been doing this for the past 4 years or so. It may not seem like much, but that type of boring investing allowed me to make some nice moves during that crazy bull run.

Yeah coinbase is my go to. I am considering moving to abra but I need to read up more about it.
I have a decent stack of alts too that I picked up a few years ago when they were cheap. Mostly ETH.

45 so far. Hoping to accumulate another 55 between now and the 2021 bullrun for an even 100. If we get back to ATH, I'll walk away with 2 million. I'm cool with that.

>> No.13178927

I hate myself for not buying when it was around $ 3200. I just kept waiting for it drop bellow $ 3000.

how long have you been in crypto? i'm slowly trying to get back to 21, but i'm scared we're going to fall. also worried that upcoming recession will drag down the market. also not confident if there'll be another bullrun.

>> No.13178984

>>13178971
exactly. right as crypto gets going again we'll enter the beginning stages of a recession. unfortunately we are just set up to fail.

I started July 31st 2017 and put my final dollar in around mid-September buying a total of 0.6 bitcoins. Rode the bullmarket to a grand total of about 10k sometime in January. By some miracle of God I learned how to trade and accumulated through the bear market til now. At this point my trading skills are top notch enough it doesn't really matter if we bull again or not as I accumulate faster than the price of BTC drops. So even if it slowly leaks to $500 a coin, I'll just outpace it. I think another bullrun is coming though for one simple reason. The SEC absolutely will approve an ETF eventually and when they do get ready for the mother of all pumps. Have enough coins to make it and be ready to get the fuck out. That's my plan.

damn impressive if not larp. i'm like 60% sure you're larp. i should pick up some trading skills tho but am too busy with job. yeah, thinking the same thing with etf. idk, i'm just naturally not a risk taker.

I got in mid 2017 too and got up to over 300K and watched it bleed out all 2018 as I hodled like a retard. So now I too have been learning to trade. But last year was fucking brutal.

I'm kindly asking if you could recommend that really gave you breakthrough, or sharing strategies etc? (i.e. timeframe, indicators, or simply support/resistance)

If I trade lower time frames on Binance, I feel I get rekt a lot. Now I'm just taking it easy and trading on the 4HR and looking at large caps as they have liquidity. Any tips? thanks anon and well done

Well, to elucidate a little, I'm a programmer so I built a bot that executes about 95% of my trades. There's this guy on Youtube named quickfingersluc who's fucking brilliant. I watched his videos, got on about 20 exchanges and set my bot up running his strategies. Stumbling on the guy was the miracle. I've extended his stuff but it's rooted in what he teaches.
>>13179063
Watch the qfl videos, it'll change your life. Bear in mind most of what he did was during the 2017 bullrun so it isn't quite as turnkey as it was but his shit still works.

>> No.13179118

>>13179089
I should add, I use a bot but the qfl stuff works just fine by hand, i.e., it doesn't require any HFT style quickness. His main thing is spotting support and buying when a coin dips below that support. His way of picking a support is a bit unusual though and brilliant when you think about it. He explains better than I could though so watch his stuff.

>> No.13179138

>>13179118
Got it thanks again. I've noticed support/resistance seems to be the key to trading, as indicators can be lagging and not always reliable. So i'll need to brush up on S/R. Cheers.

good for you man. i watched some stuff. interesting how he called the 6k support. wish my job wasn't so life consuming or else i'd be dabbling in this.
