Ethereum will flip during next bull run, when dex exchanges become the norm

I don't think BTC will ever be de-throned. Not because the fundamentals are any good, but because it's become the reserve crypto currency.

However, I think ETH has more room for growth during the next bull run due to how much more it's fallen from it's ATH than BTC has, as well as the upgrades to the network that keep getting talked about, delayed, etc. It will happen at some point.

I don't know. All I'm saying is that it's the anchor that all other cryptos are chained to. Something unforeseeable would have to happen in order for it to get knocked from #1. It has name recognition and a lot more credibility than anything else, wrongly or rightly. It's like the US Dollar.

Alright, let me tell you why bitcoin will stay the number one crypto.

1. The maker of bitcoin is unknown (which is a major factor), altcoins have a "company" like feel to them, the owners (there shouldn't be any for money) own premine and control the chain. Example DAO bailout.

Bitcoin doesn't have an owner and feels like its for the people by the people. This is a major factor if for "MONEY".

2. Bitcoin has first mover advantage and brand recognition

3. Bitcoin is battle tested, has been around a long time and has a 99,98% uptime since the day it launched.

There are probably more reasons but these are the reasons i had on the top of my head.

Problem is BTC already scared the shit out of the masses and most will never buy into it based on that reason. They saw how high it got and how far it fell. I don't see another mass BTC hysteria craze. I see something new doing that however.

Ethereum has a lot to fix within itself, but it's got first mover's advantage with a decentralized smart contract platform.

Biz's precious Chainlink is an ERC20 token. Think about that. The ERC20 token system is good. The best token is 0xBitcoin.

Absolutely not, but it's still a good buy.

Ethereum is the only project that matters at the moment.

ETH & MKR fulfill every promise. Bank the unbanked, privacy, security, autonomy, censorship resistance and fast secure cash.

BTC does none of this

The general public has a short term memory. Yes some might be fearful, especially those who bought 15-20k, but imagine after hearing their friends who got in at 3k and now selling at 6k, they will be like "fuck this is way lower then the fomo hype last year. Maybe i should get in now".

Rinse and repeat. Tons of dumb money to be earned.

Could be. Anythings possible with crypto at this point, this market is as predictable as a roulette table. I still don't think we will see it before 2021. I'm really hoping for some no name altcoin to just moon like a giant. Just so we know it can be done with the shitters too

here is another important factor
>more than 80% of all liquidity in the market and dominance increasing

Except I bought ATH at $1100 in 2013, lost my money, and bought back into crypto a few years later. I was still anti BTC but I saw Ethereum as something new so I bought. THis was before I knew what crypto actually was.

>> No.13162339

Been over it many times. NO. Bitcoin is #1 for a reason and if you can't see it get out of crypto now. Ethereum may have more potential in terms of usage and dapps and users and functionality. But Bitcoin is a stability move not a technology one. Bitcoin gets stronger the more it resists change and will always command the highest hashpower and thus security.

Will I make it with 33 ETH?
