I remember an anon in October 2017 saying "Buy REQ and when it moons move it all into LINK, REQ will moon first".
I wonder where that anon is now. Hopefully sipping cocktails on a boat somewhere.

Yeah there was some very well written out posts I remember making REQ seemed like a very good buy lmao

It was me and I didn’t sell my REQ stack. I held like a cuck and then continued to add all throughout 2018, still with the idea that it would have a larger bounce back than LINK and I’d move into LINK when it did. Then I wound up selling a few months ago at a huge loss and moved everything into LINK. Not even mad about it at this point, though I find I am constantly kicking myself for not taking my own investment advice. For example, I convinced a stock forum I’m on to buy CVNA at $9 and SQ at $13. I didn’t even buy CVNA and sold SQ at $23 for a down payment on a house. These are like 3 of 20-30 examples in the last couple of years where I made great calls but didn’t even follow them. At least I’m helping other people.

Btw. I have bought 250k REQ tokens at all time low. I'm pretty confident this could do a x10

How much REQ did you end up having? I remember there were anons with 400-500k

>Yeah there was some very well written out posts I remember making REQ seemed like a very good buy lmao

Most of those were mine.

And at the time, that is October-December 2017, REQ was one of the best growers of the massive bullcock run. It did like 1,200% which was way more than LINK and other similar shitcoins.

t. all-in REQ at that time, started buying LINK in April 2018 and then sold everything for LINK now just about break even thanks to LINK going 3x in 2018-2019

>> No.13133962

>>13133942

You at least did things right and preserved your capital.

I held REQ all the way back down to 2 cents and turned 250K back into 12K lmao

>> No.13133987

>>13133962
Damn... well depends, I sold quite a stack at 1$ for another shitcoin that made a -99% plunge. At one point I probably was down -75%. Then realised LINK was the one, kept buying at 20-35 cents level and ultimately sold my REQ at around 8 cents for LINK at 0.34$ and all the other shit too. It's babbys first bull market so of course I lost my mind and didn't act appropriately but hey at least we're in the next fucking Google.

>at least we're in the next fucking Google.

I dunno man, LINK seems like such a long shot with their amateurish attempts at development. I suppose I'll need some suicide bag at least. How much LINK do you sit on right now?

>> No.13134046

>>13134003
15k and pretty comfy. Could've had 5x of that of course... I'm telling you, it's the safest long shot out there. It lays the foundation for 90% of projects, including REQ. If it fails, there's no hope for any of these things for a long time. Can't do shit with pure token contracts, only fun ponzi games. If you want fiat integration, derivatives contracts and insurance stuff, you need an immutable, decentralized oracle network that streams correct data into your contracts for them to be end-to-end reliable.

>> No.13134611

>>13134046

Yeah, I get the integration of real data into the Blockchain, but still seems like Sergey and his tiny team (2 full time devs?) are well out of their depth in the technical execution of such a complex piece of software.

Why isn't the Ethereum foundation working towards this?

I have definitely posted what you quoted, but I said it half a year ago. I was still wrong, just not as much I guess.

I exited LINK at ~6k (was already in profit) and moved it into REQ. I have had a +30% since then, but it was based on me being on my pc all day for weeks and catching the few good candles that REQ during in that time. LINK's run was fucking crazy and I definitely didn't expect it.

I'm planing on selling REQ after a ~10x and buying link with the profit if LINK's price is lower than 10k sats. I believe that LINK will go into a short bear market once main net is released, because the circulating supply will insta-2x (it is stipulated on the smart contract that the second 3rd of the tokens will be released once the project goes live). REQ tanked because of this, I'm taking the chance that LINK will do the same.

I may be wrong, we'll see. gl hf
