So when your 100 dollar shitcoin loses 10 dollars, then gains 9 dollars, the percentage that represents is the same even though the dollar amounts are different. It's the same reason why your shitcoin going up by 10 percent is nowhere near the same amount of money as bitcoin going up by 10 percent, even though the percents are the same, because what matters is the RATIO.
