I wish I had seen this when I was 17, 18 years old. I didn't have the money to go to college. So straight out of high school I busted my ass for shit pay doing hard ass manual labor. Moving companies. Roofing. Never more than 11, 12 bucks an hour. There were good jobs around me, steel and oil refineries, a prison, make 18, 20 bucks an hour+ and have real opportunity to advance, but those were ALWAYS who you know type of jobs and impossible to get.
If I didn't find eth early I'd still be fucking struggling, working paycheck to paycheck at some shit warehouse or factory, and nearing 40 years old, body fucking already hurting from 20 years of hard work, and I never once made more than 42 grand in a year.

plc stuff, not really a meme I just choose to remain in a dead end position out of comfort

Hourly wages are 18-35/hr depending on location. You would only be making 30+ in high cost of living areas with a union though. I'm unaware of any positions that pay more than 35.

Good thing about the skillset is you can do a lot with it if you choose.

Does your 2 year program transfer into some sort of engineering bachelors?
