MFA delcared 0.2 on divs due to be paid on 4/30, with ex div date of 03/28.

If I buy shares before 03/28 and sell after the record date of 03/29, I'll still be eligible to recieve divs on the stocks I held for a few days right?

This is called the dividend capture strategy. The trick is that prices usually increase then decrease near the ex-div date so you have to do the math to see if the dividend is more than what you'll lose in equity if you liquidate back at the normal price.
