All I think about is money. I feel like I don't have a soul anymore.

Good. Other than your family that's all you should be focused on. Not women, not drugs, not vidya, not sports, not Netflix. That's what separates ambitious /biz/raelis from complacent poorfags.

Something productive like /fit/ /lit/ is acceptable. Everything else is degenerate.

My family are neurotic fuckheads. I grew up in what I consider hell. I have no relationship with my mother, my father or my little sister. I'm fucked. So that leaves me with money. I'm ambitious because all I've ever had is my ambition. My parents are incapable of giving a shit about me. Never felt more lonely than I did in that house and I live alone now and go weeks without talking to anyone outside of my job. That will tell you how horrible they are.

"Soul" is a luxury. Something that people with no material woes can enjoy.
Notice that the more affluent a person is, the more the chance of him/her being "spiritual". In short, it's just a way for rich people to jerk off

Well yeah, anything pertaining to career advancement or personal growth is absolutely appropriate /g/, /sci/, /p/, /his/, etc. Whatever you're into that is intellectually stimulating.

How about your family. I mean, your wife, your kids...

I only browse /biz/ ironically to make fun of cryptofags during dump. I already know about the coming market crash and have taken my disposition.
Also chasing money is a sure way to waste your single, short life.

What do you consider a valuable use of time?

I come from a poor background and I've seen some deeply miserable human beings at the bottom of the ladder.

My high school peers are:

>unemployed
>working manual labour / unskilled jobs / office drones
>had 4 years of "fun" in college doing useless degrees and now have a lot of debt and fuck all to show for it, now ready for 40 years of 9 to 5 misery as a wage cuck taking orders from someone they hate as they are just happy to have a job. Spend their weekends drinking and doing drugs to try forget how miserable they are for 5/7ths of their lives
>actually picked something smart to do in college, were intellectually challenged and had to spend their time busting their ass working, have high paying jobs but more importantly a choice in what they want to do on graduation, if they don't like their boss they have enough skill and qualifications to find another job

The vast majority of people are in the first 3 categories. Money is very important for living a happy life, not everything and by itseld it won't make you happy, but it's a lot easier to be happy when you're not poor and basically societies' bitch. Your serotonin levels are literally affected by your social status, ever notice how much angrier and more emotional working class people tend to be?

Don't always think about money, and feel like you have regained your soul.
