I got some experience with this. 30k is huge. Better to start smaller in order to minimise risk, build a following in the scene and get to know your team and it’s capabilities.

One of the hardest things is to get a good location. That includes politicians that give you a permit and don’t send the police to raid your festival. If you don’t have your own location or are are at least able to re-use the infrastructure you built next year, you are at a big disadvantage.

Feed your crew well, don’t underestimate if a cook that can feed hundreds of people economically.
