For anyone truly interested in why the price has remained low for so long please check out the foundation wallets. VET has been cycled through many accounts to throw people off their tail and straight into Binance. The crash from 260 SAT plus back to low 100's was caused completely from large amounts funneled and hidden through nearly 500 different accounts then ultimately ending in Binance. It's all out in the open for anyone to research. Sure the foundation has a right to sell a few to pay bills etc but why try and hide the trail?

I don't think the actual companies are in on it. I think they just agree to look at a technology they don't really understand and naively allowed their name to be used in order to loan legitimacy to a project that doesn't have any intention of ever delivering it's stated goals. It's been obvious for a long time that Vechain targets retail investors rather than institutions. The institutions and all promotional material are simply to lure retailers into the scam.

Pretty much everyone on /biz/ was aware of this about a year ago. It only stayed popular on mediums like reddit where heavy handed moderation and shadowbans can keep the blatant red flags under wraps.

VeChain is not a scam in the traditional sense. The bulk of their business dealings are likely legitimate, although grossly overstated.
