It's hard to say, I think the new CEO is going to be able to get shit together faster than Flannery ever did, and there's a lot of restructuring going on, but i personally believe that huge dip had a lot to do with corporate decisions that Flannery was a part of. Aviation is a worldbeater. Power is secularly fucked (competition from China + global warming). Renewables might be okay, but will probably have low margins. All the other divisions are being spun off/sold.

The problem with Aviation (and a bunch of GE's businesses) is that they don't produce much immediate cashflow. The money is in parts and maintenance, not units sold. I like SimplyWallStreet. Know what you're getting: a decent overview of mid/large caps with nice graphs.
