REMEMBER NEWS AND PRICE RUN TOGETHER FAGGOT.

IN A BULL MARKET MORE GOOD NEWS COMES OUT AND BAD NEWS IS SWEPT UNDER THE RUG OR DISREGARDED COMPLETELY. THE INVERSE GOES FOR BEAR MARKETS.

WHEN A TREND REVERSAL HAPPENS IN PRICE, WHETHER IT BE DUE TO A NEWS CATALYST OR PURE PRICE ACTION ALONE, THE PRICE AND NEWS START TO FEED EACH OTHER. IN FACT A LOT OF TIMES YOU WILL NOTICE PRICE MOVE FIRST, AND THEN NEWS COME OUT AFTER THE FACT TO TRY AND JUSTIFY THE MOVE.

PRICE AND NEWS FEEDING EACH OTHER CREATES MOMENTUM. MOMENTUM CREATES TRENDS.

"Meme lines" as people call them describe human emotion. The micro trends and macro cycles driven by greed and fear are the exact same no matter what asset, currency or bubble you're trading.

Right now we're in the "found-a-comfortable-temporary-bottom-from-where-we-can-test-going-back-up" phase. Next phase is: "Why-is-no-new-money-coming-into-the-market?-Might-as-well-sell-now-and-buy-cheaper-later." if you understand game theory you'll see why this phase brings the bottom.

My advice : Buy Bitcoin and hold until $67.000. Buy Ethereum and hold until $14.400. Buy Skycoin and hold until $9.800. Buy Link and hold until $695.

There are 3 big market makers:

-london pool

-bitfinex

Then you have hayes making the weekly quota on fast pumpdumps liqs, bitfinex only plays the bigger picture, 4h chart, against their own customers (pretty much what hayes but he dont even care to hide shit) and london and china play daytrading, they just move it on the opposite direction of what the other did. The game its pretty simple, search where the biggest pool of biffinex users get liq and play around it, but you guys dont even know the play you are at, right?

OP am I stupid to keep all my shit in undervalued but less bleeding shit like OPQ and NANO all the way until the next peak and pull out halfway?

Most altcoins just increase in value at near equivalent rates at BTC when it goes up because it drives the market and exchange rates, but the lower market cap alts are more likely to exponentially blow up, especially if devs save their shit to release once accumulation has ended.
I could be looking at a 5 year long of a 2x-5x ROI buying in the Accumulation and riding BTC up the next peak, but I could get similar 2-5x and possibly even 20x because of the relative market cap in those cheaper alts like what happened with Stellar Lumens in 2017.

Is this idea retarded or is it a viable high risk high reward way to approach the next run after accumulation?

I agree with everything you say, except this. Alts did not get wiped out last time - I was there for that. They suffered a big hit, yes, but not a complete wipeout.

Theres no point in selling alts now - many have bottomed, BTC dominance remains at a steady 50-55. So no, theres no point in dumping alts.

The crypto market is a little different from other markets. Remember that altcoins build communities and fervent supporters. They also can run on shoestring budgets and require little to no capital to maintain. Its not that easy to just wipe out alts.

THE ACCUMULATION ZONE WILL BE 2k-3k BTC. NO NEED TO FOMO, YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO BUY IN.

THE TOP ON THE OTHER HAND IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY RIGHT NOW THOUGH I WOULD ESTIMATE SOMEWHERE AROUND 160K. THIS IS MORE OF A PLAY IT BY EAR THING, BECAUSE WHEN ITS GOING PARABOLIC THERE IS NO RESISTANCE TO JUDGE WHERE IT WILL TOP OUT SO YOU CAN DO A COMBINATION OF THINGS TO GET A BETTER FEEL FOR WHEN THINGS ARE TOPPING OUT.

WHEN ITS GOING PARABOLIC THERE WILL BE NO CONSOLIDATION FOR WEEKS ON END AND EVERYBODY IS BULLISH. IF EVERYONE IS BULLISH, ITS BECAUSE EVERYONE ALREADY OWNS BTC. THEREFORE THERE IS NOBODY LEFT TO BUY.

ALTERNATIVELY, YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE BULL TRAP AND SELL NEAR THE HIGH WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT MISSING THE TOP.

50x seems a little loafty when the ROIs on every cycle have been getting smaller relative to the last peak, but I pick up what you're putting down. I know Alts come with an inherit risk and are harder to cash out if you wait until the peak, but i'm prospecting those 2 in particular because they have working products and roadmaps to last at least long enough to get past the accumulation where insolvency won't be an issue as the BTC pump will raise all alts.
I don't see them as "HOLY FUCK THIS IS THE FUTURE FLIPPENING 2.0" just as hedges to hold right now that have stayed relatively sideways to BTC rather than falling and with their working product and releases going into that accumulation sweetspot, they could potentially 10x whatever the 10x of the BTC pump because of their lower market caps.

If that doesn't sound viable, would you hedge in BTC only for the time being while we bleed to bottom or possibly any other alt that seems like it'll bleed less before loading up in once we hit accumulation?

And last question, do you think this next pump will be long like the last one or more breakneck like the 2013 one?

OK I REALLY DIDNT WANT TO GET INTO THIS BUT HERE IT GOES-

IN ORDER FOR LINK TO BE SUCCESSFUL TO EVEN A FRACTION OF WHAT'S EXPECTED HERE, THE FOLLOWING THINGS NEED TO HAPPEN

- ETH NEEDS TO SURVIVE AS A PRIME SMART CONTRACT PLATORM AND REACH A SCALING SOLUTION (AND DON'T GIMME THE BLOCKCHAIN AGNOSTIC SHIT, THE TOKEN IS ON THE FUCKING ETH NETWORK)

- LINK ITSELF (WHICH IS STILL THEORETICAL) NEEDS TO FUNCTION AND PERFORM AS ADVERTISED. NOTE THE CODE ISN'T EVEN CLOSE TO BEING FINISHED (DON'T ARGUE) AND THERE IS NO USER INTERFACE FOR CREATING SMART CONTRACTS.

- SMART CONTRACTS THEMSELVES NEED TO BE ADOPTED. I WON'T EVEN GET INTO WHY THIS IS DIFFICULT. THERE'S NO RECOURSE FOR FUCKED UP INPUTS/OUTPUTS OR BAD CODE. IF A PROBLEM HAPPENS BETWEEN MULTIPLE COMPANIES WITH A DECENTRALIZED SMART CONTRACT, WHAT DO THEY DO? THEY TAKE THE ISSUE INTO A CENTRALIZED COURT. SO WHEN SERGEY ASKS "ARE WE GETTING RID OF LAWYERS," THE ANSWER IS NO.

- API MARKET NEEDS TO DRASTICALLY IMPROVE. THE DATA AVAILABLE FOR THE KIND OF SMART CONTRACTS THAT CHAINLINK IS TARGETING IS CURRENTLY REALLY SPARSE AND THE SHIT IS VERY EXPENSIVE. EACH CALL COSTS A LOT OF MONEY OR YOU PAY HEFTY SUBSCRIPTION FEES.

- SMART CONTRACT AUDITING SERVICES NEED TO BE WIDELY AVAILABLE AND RELIABLE

- CHAINLINK NEEDS TO ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT FIAT INPUTS AND OUTPUTS (NOT JUST A CUTE LITTLE SLIDESHOW AT SIBOS). NO COMPANY WORTH THEIR SALT WILL EVER BE PUTTING THEIR ESCROW INTO SHITCOINS

>B-BUT IT'S ABOUT THE SAFETY OF DELIVERING THE DATA TO THE CONTRACT AND NOT THE POINT OF RETRIEVAL ITSELF HURRRRRRRRRR

AND LETS JUST FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES SAY THAT ALL OF THESE PLANETS DO ALIGN.

Add an MA1400 (same thing as the 1W MA200) to your daily chart (use BLX to go all the way back), now add the MA 2800 and you'll see that it started to appear in 2018 around the similar peak as the ma1400 did in 2014. If we go even a few hundred dollars under this line, ma1400 is now resistance, and makes the ma2800 an almost guarantee. Then the bullrun we'll start once we're out of that 1.8k to 4k trade zone.

Eventually you plebs will realise BTC is not going anywhere but down. If you can remember the only thing that sparked the bull run was the segshit update getting pushed through, which did absolutely nothing to scale BTC. The market is slowly realising this, and there are no new forks on BTC's horizon ever again.

The entire market is beyond delusional at this point, BTC will continually edge downward until a competitor coin takes it's place as king.

And don't even talk to me about the 'lightning network', everyone whose spent more than 5 minutes researching it realises it will never be usable in any meaningful way.

PAY ATTENTION FAGGOT

THESE "FUNDAMENTALS" THAT YOU THINK SPARKED THE LAST BULL RUN DONT MEAN SHIT.

BTC AT $1 IS THE SAME THING AS BTC AT $1000 THE ONLY THING THAT CHANGES IS PEOPLES PERCEPTION OF ITS VALUE.

MARKET TRENDS HAPPEN BECAUSE OF A SHIFT IN THE BALANCE OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND. WHEN BTC REACHES $20,000 AND EVERYONE BOUGHT IN WAY CHEAPER, THE SELLERS GAIN CONTROL. PRICE MOVES DOWN AND SENTIMENT TURNS NEGATIVE. ENTER THE BEAR MARKET.

BULL MARKETS BEGIN AFTER SELLING PRESSURE HAS BEEN ABSORBED BY A NEW ROUND OF BUYERS. ONCE THE SELLING PRESSURE IS GONE AND PRICE BEGINS TO MOVE UP, SENTIMENT ONCE AGAIN TURNS POSITIVE AND THE TREND CHANGES.

THIS IS CALLED MOMENTUM.

A pattern a lot of people don't seem to be noticing is what BTC has been doing since the 19600 top. It's pretty much formed two higher lowers before an eventual large bear break, two higher lows, bear break, two higher lows, bear break...

if the pattern holds up, with just set our second of two higher lows since the 3150 bottom. We should set a lower high below 4150 before the eventual bear break that gets us below 3000.

That is if the pattern holds up.
