That's it, I sold. I'm free. I'm free form this fucking hell of scammers and pajeets. It was fun and games for a while, but now its just a cruel sick joke. I bought at 15k. No human can look at their money disappear before their very eyes and not be bothered. You know we're going to 3k, right? People in some countries can mine btc at that price, its going to fucking happen. You know it, I know it, lets all stop pretending that this is ganna be anything but a bear market untill 2030

>> No.12879554

Reasons to sell:

>can get a bunch of USD right away
>can use the USD to pay rent, bills, buy beer and hookers
>no more stress of seeing your money go down
>can get better sleep
>no one to make fun of you for losing investments
>your money is guaranteed by the government
>very liquid, can do lots of things with it

Who else take the /soldpill/ here?

You know when people said only iron hands who cost-averaged down would make it until the next bullrun, they meant it right? Like an actual multi-year bear market. You gave up after less than a year and sold at a loss, congrats.
Either you saw this coming and you got out of the market while you were still in profit, or you caught a falling knife and then you just hold your coins and make your money back by trying to time the actual bottom.

You picked the literal worst decision. You get nothing. GOODBYE SIR.

I've never understood how people just click sell so easily. Unless you were really struggling financially you had no reason to. You don't lose until you sell at a loss. You're impatient and have no foresight. You're not going to make it with crypto trading, or any trading.

Yes, this. OP is stupid, though. I watched BTC from very early. Bought at $30, sold @ $200. I cannot even fathom buying at 15k. At 10k I was like welp, missed that boat, only suckers buying now. After sitting on the sidelines since, I’ve decided that now seems like a good time to buy back in.

The Doomer realizes that there are no exits.

He realizes that the quiet pride and fulfillment of being a white male pursuing a traditional life in society, is being slowly eroded by the forces of progressivism and changes in the fabric of the country, from 'Me Too' to a lack of ethnic, white identity due to political incorrectness denied to him due to 'historical injustice.' For every concession he makes, the culture doubles down and demands even more from him and continues to push the claims of the evils of white man to outlandish degrees. He's in a double bind, because if he fights back, the culture holds him as an example of the fascistic, supremacist tendencies of the white man - yet if he capitulates, he loses by default through the slow, inevitable decline into obscurity and utter powerlessness.

And even if he somehow exists in a pocket of the country where progressive culture hasn't claimed its pound of flesh, he's still not out of the woods. He looks at his boomer parents, the ones who followed the rules, paid into their 401k's, own their houses, and had the three kids with the white picket fence. He looks at them and feels nothing but disdain. They're divorced, balding, overweight and unable to comprehend, let alone do something to stop the decline of civilization. They take pills for depression and statins for their cholesterol. They unironically laugh at late night TV show hosts and their jokes about 'orange man bad.' Their success has made them fat and lazy, their minds dull and uncritical - their destinies are to reside in some retirement home until they keel over, having contributed nothing to their species.

So what's left for the Doomer? Drugs and alcohol, sure, check out of society. But the Doomer is in his late 20s now, and the hangovers are getting worse. He's long ago discovered that all drugs are simply reiterations of the same cycle - a high, a low, a return to baseline, and that's it. No problems are solved with it... CONT'D

He'll always wake up on Sunday and feel disappointed in himself for spending yet another weekend at the trough of self-indulgence, unable to fully break the cycle of boozing and smoking. He's angry at himself, and angry at society for not allowing him the opportunity for something greater. That time has passed, and he knows it.

What about love? You could try that route, but somehow he knows better. His testosterone levels have subsided somewhat since his early 20s, and he can see more clearly now that the equation of a heterosexual relationship seems unbalanced. And who can blame him? A relationship requires a substantial investment of time and money, and the women he meets rarely have enough in common with him to push the interest level beyond mere sexuality. And this is true for almost all relationships now. With no shared, cultural identity, we must meet each other through social clubs, activities and interests, or sensual intoxication. These bonds are therefore only as strong as the activity pursued, and can always be severed at the drop of a hat. There are no places left to go and just talk with people who look like you and speak free of restraint. There are few social gathering spots that don't center around alcohol or paid entertainments and it creates increasing levels of loneliness in the Doomer, but again, there is no way out, because the alternative is a sad, empty impression of what a relationship should be - both romantic and otherwise.

So perhaps if society is so fucked, the best option is to simply put your nose to the grindstone and make your money to bail. Your vision is to buy the farm and homestead. At least that's a goal, but you now have another problem. You need money. The dirty little secret that our politicians don't tell us is that wages are stagnant because of the dissolution of international borders and trade.Globalization has created extreme and unrealistic levels of competition that demand our souls... We were sold a line about free trade and cheap goods, and we wanted to believe it because we were all libertarians seven years ago. Now we're seeing what the cost of those cheap goods are. How can you compete with Pajeet IT techs making $1/hour, or literal slaves working in China? You can't. The politicians try to keep the worst of it from hitting our shores, but they aren't miracle workers, and eventually, the world will hit a global, economic balancing point, where we will all be forced to realize that when you have almost 8 billion people wanting to work, human labor is worth almost nothing. That's coming, and it's real, and it doesn't even take into account the dozen or so other factors like automation that are coming to fuck you on the double.

So what is left for the Doomer in a world that has left him behind? What do you do when the natural social order is attacked? When you realize that you can no longer win by taking action, but at the same time, you'll lose by remaining inactive? You become stuck. You become doomed. You're caught in the machinery of global civilization as it bleeds to death, and there's nowhere in the world left to retreat to and no ideology that can save you. All you can do is look at your watch and count down until it all falls apart - and maybe then, when you're with the men among the ruins, you can start again.

Maybe next time, you won't be doomed.
