these matters are ridiculously unrelated. They could have just as easily had 2 trillion total supply, still distributed 1 BMH per megabyte, and still be able to sell literally whatever percentage of that 2 trillion they wished in the ICO.

Either way, they are going to run out of tokens in their 'to-miners' fund eventually, which begs another question, how are they going to reward miners when that happens?
