Its not much of a brag worthy scam but it was pretty successful for a 19 yearold...

I wanted money without doing much work. As a young stoner I was wracking my brains trying to figure out a way to make money online without any money or work up front. I was also just put on probabtion so I was googling around how to pass a drug test.

I realized the hard way that all these drinks and powders advertised online were useless (fake pee is the only way to pass a federal test but that is next to impossible when you have to pee in front of two officers and a mirrored toilet).

SO, a few months later after getting out of jail for violating my probation, I had an idea... If everyone was selling stuff to pass a drug test, chances are the people buying them are very stupid and willing to try anything. And if it doesnt work, they probably have bigger problems then worrying about getting a refund for a $20 glorified detox tea.

The problem, I was about to start bottling tea and selling it, I simply made a blogspot website, wrote some bullshit about how the commercial products dont work, and the SECRET is right under you nose in your pantry or local grocery store.

I wrote up a 1 page pdf that got sent to a buyer via paypal. The pdf was some bullshit instructions, "Buy KNOX unflavored geletin, mix it with green tea and consume exactly one hour before your piss test, 99.9% GUARANTEE" Im a graphic designer by trade so my marketing skills werent bad back then....

Anyways, after my site and payment gateway was set up and automated I bought some google ads to promote it, quickly realized those werent allowed. What I then discovered is alot of youtube videos promoting videos on how to pass a piss test. I would spend hours spamming the comments of these videos, saying how they dont work and I have the ONLY ANSWER. I sold the PDF's for $4.99 with a money back guarantee. Before I knew it my email was blowing up, $5, $5, $5.... boom. Started getting on average about 25 orders PER DAY. I even had people email me and THANK ME for saving their life... The people who complained I simply refunded there $5.

This racket went on for about a year and then youtube started making it harder for my spam to show up and I eventually got a real job and gave up. It was a pretty fun time tho. Would do it again if I was in a pinch.

I had a Vyvanse prescription in college and would sell it quite frequently. There was a semester where I became one of ((((them)))) by emptying the capsules of the drug and filling it with just pure caffeine powder. I would sell those to randos for $10 a pop and then sell the pure powder to my close friends.

I made a fake charity, charging recently dead people I found in the public registers. I sent them a letter that food and health equipment had been bough for them in their name and shipped to Africa. I mainly targeted Bible belt areas in my country. Nearly all of them paid, but I got greedy and charged them more and more. In the end the police came.
