4chan harbors a lot of those men who "didn't make it", so to say. Losers/incels, whatever is the name of fashion of the current day. Either there was some mental issue, or event, or just plain fucking laziness, that caused this to happen.

It allows for a place to outlet some of that pent up frustration at ourselves. For example, I often see posts on 4chan about how some guys are "annoyed" at "successful" or intelligent women. Rather than saying "why can I not be at that level?", we view it as "why are they not at my level, or below me".

In order to solve this issue, which I think is a growing one in the West, as Societal changes are taking place, I don't think it's healthy to encourage the idea of there being "age limits"/ageism.

People can sometimes take time to find out who they are, and what they're good at, allowing them to become of more value to Society.

By saying things like ""hurry up, you have X amount of years to find out everything about yourself, and become of value, and after age X we don't care about you, you haven't achieved anything", it doesn't help to solve this problem. Especially as humans begin to live longer, we have to start re-thinking how we view milestones people "should" reach, by certain ages.

Very true. I'm about to turn 32 and I regret never becoming a "normie". I had a few friends throughout my 20s and I always thought they would be there to hang out and have fun. I never gave any thought to my future and played video games all through my 20s. I didn't network or make any useful connections in college. No one wants to waste their time helping a loser. You are meant to create your own support network by establishing a family. Dating and women have changed so much in the last five years that it feels like finding a good woman is just not possible for the average person anymore unless you already have connections with good people who know other good people. I'm doing my best to fix this mess I've created but sometimes it just feels hopeless. I urge all of you zoomers to not end up like this. You don't even have to stop being a NEET, just do your best to improve yourself as much as possible and try every day to make steps towards succeeding and reaching your goals. The whole idea that 4chan is populated by hopeless NEET incels just stems from people reading CNN about this place being the weird kid with razor blades. It’s a varied place with a shitload of info- it’s the epitome of Sartre’s “everything is possible, freedom is terrifying”. There are opinions and hate and divisions. But that’s what the world is. “Normie” life is slow suicide as well- asking Stacey about equality, going for happy hour til you turn into a fat fuck, and working to become a boomer telling the young uns’ “I used hate this job too but now I’m comfortable”.

Just pick your poison. 4chan is an ersatz version of opting out of normie life. But more than that- it offers a way to beat the system if you play your cards right. And everyone here is dissatisfied with life on the outside. You should be. It fucking sucks.

I started to realize the truth in the screen cap with 30 and got so fucking scared, so i completely turned my life around, which took me roughly 10y, but it was doable. Now I am 50, have wife and kids and get a lot of great feedback in my wagey cagy.

But the price was and is high. I had to completely stop living in my comfort zone, which means I was at time nearly puking of fear trying to get a job, doing something for Mr. Shekelshtein no one told me, but where I realized it was a good idea.
