This is the podcast from sergeys workshop.

https://sviaccelerator.com/blockchain-smart-insurance-svia-04-tabletop-workshop-defining-developing-a-smart-contract/

This talk was very 10000 ft. Way over the head of the normies. Made me sad thst sergey couldnt get to them. I have a huge link stack and i want it to succeed i just feel like he really fell flat here.

He needed to let them know thst smart contracts will allow them to reduce overhead and offer insurances that they couldnt before, there creating new revenue streams.

In 3 sentences i explained what he couldnt.

The solar panel example was amazing though. Perfect summation of how sc can change the insurance industry

They got it, they didn't really like it IMO. They were all reading the writing on the wall re: their jobs.

Sergey told them that they like to withhold payment, and put up barriers to withhold/delay payment, and under the paradigm they won't be able to do that anymore. And if they resist they will be BTFO by the firm that does. It was actually kind of exciting for being what it is.

Sergey was alpha as fuck BTFOing all of insurance

This wasn't about shilling Chainlink. This was about getting the ball rolling for generating ideas for smart contracts. The more people who take smart contracts seriously the more potential customers there are for Chainlink

It was a talk to insurance executives. $1000 a head just to attend. They control the purse strings and direction for their insurance companies and many of them were getting to hear about this tech in depth for the first time from Sergey of Nazarov (PBUH) himself in a small forum where they could ask any questions face to face with him, Dan (development), or adelyn (marketing).

He communicated the ideas very well and many of them are probably in shock at the soon-to-be-realized potential of this tech.

I would recommend you focus on some of what Sergey said about who they’ve been talking to and the different industries they’re simultaneously working with. Spoiler, it’s not just insurance.

>> No.12803127

This is the most bullish speech I've heard yet. Sergey confirmed the institutional fomo we all speculate about on here, he gave us securitized insurance cash flows, told us about work they've already done using customs apis, and confirmed the swift payment oracle which will be huge for industry adoption.

Thought the same thing. He wasn’t even shilling, he was telling them hey you better let us help you or you’re going to be out of business eventually.

I didn’t think he did exceptionally well when asked questions, but his speech describing the tech and the example he gave we’re fantastic.

doesnt matter if they dont like it. the world is headed in that direction. all it takes is some techy to provide insurance over the internet using smart contracts and he will single handidly put firms out of business.
