>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I was reading something about boglehead 3 fund portfolio.
Where the main example was putting your money into 3 vanguard investments( vanguard themselves recommend 4, but anyways)
Vgstx (total international stock market index
Vbmfx ( total bond market index)
Vtsmx (total stock market index)
I think one of them is suppose to be a total domestic stock market but considering I live in South Africa I don't think that's a very good idea.
Anyways considering their performances over the past few years or more I think they're a pretty safe bet. Though I know even giant stock market funds can fuck up.
Anyways they don't leverage their funds do they(might sound silly)?
Like if one of there funds fuck up badly it wouldn't have a domino on the rest?
For my initial year or so I want to invest in these three as my starting investments.
Is this alright? Any tips? I'm intending to be lazy and play it alil safe but not too safe.

VGSTX is basically a three (four) fund portfolio already pe-allocated. Its 40% bonds which is fairly high (im 20% bonds) but that might be fine for you depending on your risk tolerance. If you ad more bonds on top of that, you'll get even more bond heavy.

Usually 3 funds are not leveraged. Bogleheads has a good guide on three fund portfolios.

Okay one more shill post and I'm done. Fun fact: The GOOS has only missed earnings once since it IPO'd in 2016:

June 2017: +28% above estimate
August 2017: +45%
November 2017: +39%
February 2018: +21%
June 2018: +157%
August 2018: -15% below estimate
November 2018: +53%

GOOS' competitors earnings for Q4 2018:
>COLM +29%
>VFC +5% but the stock jumped from $73.80 to $84 on earnings day... and kept going up. It's still going up.

By the by, if I do get anyone to fomo in tomorrow, I recommend selling as near to the high of day as you can manage. If this goes the same as the last time, it is likely to drop somewhat immediately after the hysteria of the day settles. I will be selling almost all of my holding tomorrow unless it hits earnings exactly and trades flat for some reason.

Although you will find plenty of morons that will say that dividends make a company less valuable. A STOCK IS A FUCKING PIECE OF PAPER, if it doens't pay dividends and doesnt give you voting rights it is worthless. Do you really think you own part of a company. Can you just walk into a business you own stock in and take something home with you? You own something when you can send the police to violently take stuff away from people and give it to you.

> Is it going to be that big of a deal when Fortnite and Apex are already filling that void
Yes, not only because it has the cod brand on its side but its a lot better than apex legends. The only reason apex legends is doing so good is because its F2P. If it costed money then it would have been a flop. The only reason a f2p br like h1z1 failed is because its broken and ugly. If you're a kid who likes BR and has no money here was your choice before apex legends
>fortnite
now they have two. They'll get three when it goes f2p and it'll be huge. Its not "if", its "when", which is the hard thing. It could be as soon as next tuesday or a few months away. We don't know

Absolutely. Even if you just put it all in to an index ETF, you will still beat your average savings account easily. And there is no time like present to learn how to in to stock market. where would you say stock price would drop to? Currently I'd put a value on the company at a little over 600million and it's currently trading at 315million.. and that comes without the dividend.. just mainly by it's balance sheet, its industry and it's potential growth in the future excluding dividend...

I'm more of a buy into weakness and sell into strength type of person.. but what do you think it'll drop to if they cut dividend?

You need fat, not on your body but in your stomach. Butter, butter on your toast, butter on your pancakes and even butter in your coffee. When you lift, lift hard and for an hour and a half max. Get 8 hours of sleep. Take an ADK (vitamin A, D3 and K2 in one) magnesium and zinc every day. Take plenty of days off, i have a 4 day weight rotation which is 2 days on 1 off. Cut out all unnecessary onions (onions sauce is acceptable in a recipe that calls for it, but pay attention to ingredients of salad dressings and condiments, often times onions bean oil is #1 and that's when onions starts to become a problem.) If you're truly deficient try taking DIM, it'll help normalize you but it will stop you from going past normal on T so I avoid it.

Yes. But the moral of the story is that you need to find utilities that are in growing areas that are using more energy. Long term growth may not be there if we find too many ways to save energy. We also don't grow in the same way that we used to, his growth was because of dramatic growth in populations, we don't have that anymore. If it was 1% a day, why wouldn't everyone do it? You'd turn 10k into a mil in under 2 years. 1 mil in high yield can support a comfy neet life so there's plenty of reason to work towards it. The truth is you can't measure out gains like that, it's unpossible. There are too many variables and the market is fickle at the best of times and completely rigged at the worst of times. It does all the investing for you, it's not interesting or good. RH is perfectly fine if you're a beginner or poor. It's not an inherently bad brokerage, it's just bad for serious traders. Keep in mind that most brokers charge $7 per trade. You have to trade huge volume for the spread to beat that

It's on their website. It's not remotely illegal, and it's not a bad deal for the average /biz/ college student. I don't know why it freaks people out so much, its usually no more than one cent per share

This is a terrible idea friend.
If you really wanted to go all out you might as well put it all on black.
But my serious advice is to buy a decent yeilding stock that is near book value, or at a reasonable PE. I don't mean to shill T but right now 5k in that would be getting you 300 annually, or 25 monthly if you'd like to think of it like that. If you are under 27 join the reserves or something. We may all succeed but some have to work much harder. It might be to your benefit to find a free copy of some financial books online. The other thing you could do is buy a $100 guitar and shill your soul on street corners. You might find yourself in a completely new enviornment sooner than you think. Whatever you do, don't try to be that guy who thinks he can average 4% daily returns, that is just absurd.

Money goes to my pre-paid debit card bank called; The Bankcorp Bank it's a Canadian bank No, I am not Canadian apparently these sites made an agreement that they would not allow anyone at these stock places use their bank account at the stock sites. Also no gambling sites either.
I use PayPal and my money I made it's Direct Deposited to my pre-paid debit card bank.
My mom has a savings account for me however I am pretty sure it's linked to her account if I even have a online account.

You need to take charge of your money, anon. Get a bank account, even if you keep it mostly empty (be careful of this, look up bank fees as some don't like this).
Don't use a debit card as there's literally no reason to. It gets lost or stolen that's on you. Get a money market checking account. More local friendly, less jewish, etc. This builds credit if you need it, and if someone steals your card then you can get it refunded / canceled / etc.
