Does biz like Monero or ZCash? No shills plz. Just one or the other. Go

I like both but I like monero more. Moneros privacy is better and more proven (less experimental.) No one really knows if zksnarks (zcash) are foolproof yet, they have only been out like 2 years.

The monero dev team is also hardcore committed to privacy at any cost. Zcash has openly said they would install backdoors for governments if they asked. Yikes.

On the other hand, the zcash team seems to know where the bodies are buried. They clear every government hurdle quickly and cleanly. They were first on coinbase even though they are several years newer. Their marketing is better and their software is much faster and easier to use. You dont have to run a full node to be anonymous, which makes it about a billion times easier to use than monero. They have native Ledger support which is always nice. Zcash just seems tremendously more organized, professional and better run overall than monero.

Just buy a little of both. If I were committing crimes like tax evasion or whatever I would stick to monero though.

or just buy eth which has all the features as zcash. it's just not user friendly to make anon transactions on eth, but it's possible and it's been done.

honestly every coin that is not eth is just a test net for a possible eth feature.

Bullshit. How could that possibly happen? I wrote a smartcontract once, so im pretty knowledgeable about how ETH works and that should be impossible. You can always see which wallet issued a command or transaction, and the contracts are deterministic so there is no way to do a mixin.

ZCash as a founder's fee and pretty bad inflation, buying it is essentially donating to the ZKSnarks research team. I can't think of a reason not to own monero though.

The same could have been said of bitcoin in the early years. They undergo halvenings every 4 years just like bitcoin. Next one is in 2 years.

zcash may or may not be backdoored
you decide

This. Soon, Zcoin will be private by default and have smart contracts.

Also, zcoin supply can be fully audited.

aside from the trusted-setup this is what bothers me the most about Zcash, as an US corporation they would have no chance to say no to a gov backdoor.

The absolute state of /biz/. You can't even talk about your retard money without it turning into 10 monkeys fucking a football.

Can you install a backdoor for monero? I mean the devs can always get pressured into it

>> No.12721330

>>12721241
it is what it is
zcoin has the best privacy and it is easy to use
monero is hard to use but it has better liquidity
zcash is Jew cash, yikes

if you use monero to make the same payment over and over again it is possible to figure out who is doing what
with zcoin there is no way

Monero. Zcash isn't private by default. It also relies on you trusting the devs to have implemented zk-snarks securely. You can't have a trust less system if trust at the very first level is required
