The ctfc will decide yes or no and bakkt will open
The government shutdown delays this too so if we're shutdown again it could take awhile

Fuck dude, don't know what to say. I have like 5k USD quadbucks on there that are probably gone, I am really pissed but ya... Maybe bitcoin will crash another 90%, the amount they owe from crypto will plummet, and then the remaining fiat can be divvied fairly and we can get most of it back...

Crypto is such an unregulated mess, it's easy to just exit scam and nobody scrutinise it thoroughly.

No doubt the exchange was struggling, and they thought fuck it... May as well grab everything and run

Canadian exchange. The double extra shitty part of this is that they had a good reputation for fast withdrawals with no fuss back in 2017. It appears now they are no longer liquid. Probably they were using new deposits to pay withdrawals for some time before the problems were immediately noticeable to people using their exchange.

You literally just made one mistake. Nothing to freak out about...

Learn money management. You should have had much less money on that literal who exchange. Unless you are a rich fag and that money you lost isn’t a large % of your net worth. Think about it long and hard, would you really think it’s smart to put more than 1% of your net worth into a single shitcoin. 1% is a little aggressive. These are shitcoins were talking. Most successful investors don’t even put 1% in a trade. They trade with less than 1% of net worth. Now think about exchanges. That is a different kind of risk. Someone could just walk with the money and really nothing is stopping them, with more exchanges than there are cryptocurrencies. Most of these exchanges are going to fail and most of the failing ones will exit with some funds. People deal with this by using only the best exchanges and only having their account funded when actively trading, still a big risk to ever deposit to a shit exchange.

If you are just starting out, like you haven’t gotten any solid gains that you cashed out to other assets/goods, you should have other income to quickly recoup. It will take a few years to be able to have big enough winnings to draw on when you have a bad day.

Leafs literally think anything with Canada stamped on it is kosher/halal. That's why they keep falling for this shit. Quadrigacx, "Canadian" exchange. I'll just leave 6 figures on there. Nevermind the fact it takes weeks to withdraw while other take days. Nevermind that it's common knowledge that CIBC had over 20m of quadriga's money hostage.

Should have just bought Bitcoin at a premium and sent it to your wallet but you decided to wait and see if you could get your fiat in 3 months.

Now these same idiots are asking for "Canadian" death certificates, as if that shit matters. I'm so glad these leaf losers got what they deserve. Go complain to your Canadian banks and Canadian Government. Maybe call the Canadian RCMP? LOL
