2 days as a neet
>25 episodes of anime escapism
>10 hours of fortnight or FPS
well that weekend was quick

weekend as a wagie
every second feels like a minute
every minute feels like an hour
every day feels like a month

you will never understand this feel

also you will never experience the bliss of quitting a job to become free

>Mfw I actually had enough money saved up to leave my horribly abusive job (wherein I was physically assaulted in places without cameras, and verbally abused along with other co-workers).
>Mfw telling my boss.
>Mfw I tell him "I'm just going to work on personal projects, and live off of investments for a while", and he freaks the fuck out because he's used to bullying wagecucks with no savings.

The day a wage cuck gains his freedom is one of the most sublime experiences a man can have.

No. Do something else.

Do it for a firm that pays well - there are a number of more highly paid insurance defense firms that will pay a solid six figures. Pay off your loans, sock away a rainy day fund. But get on your own as soon as your able, it takes a while to build a practice and it is best to do so without kids or a mortgage. But being on my own has been the absolute best work experience of my life. You make your schedule, you keep the money you make, and you actually help your clients.

Six figure firm sounds too good to be true for me. Los Angeles and shit tier (aba approved) law school (yeah I know). How much should I be asking for or expect with no litigation experience?

How many years had you been practicing before you sent solo ? Any significant experience that made you feel competent enough to go solo?
Thanks desu

Quit my chem PhD a month ago. Felt like it was a waste of time, any had no interest in the topic. The other people there were the same, it was a miserable wagie shithole.

I just accepted the offer after finishing my bachelor's and thought it would be a great qualification. Seeing people finishing and struggling to get even an entry level job afterwards was sobering. I could feel it funneling me into acedemia and the "postdoc trap", so I decided to turn it into a masters, and have the next few months to write that up and learn to program and get a job I'll actually enjoy. In hindsight its what I should have done in the beginning, but I just sort of floated through a generic science degree and hoped things would sort themselves out.

>tfw you actually gotta do things to make things change

In the meanwhile I'm working as a private tutor for rich kids, making ridiculous money. The supply and demand is ridiculously imbalanced, I can charge 50 euro per hour to teach a 14 yr old basic algebra. Making double what I was getting during the PhD, for 14 hours a week. Internship or jr position in tech this summer, or failing that get a msc in comp science as a backup. Hard to go against the flow that much, but it's worse to float through life and find yourself in a position you don't like or never actively chose.

>Tfw turbulent times but think i might make it.

Law is a shit field to try to get into right now, especially if you are doing so without connections. Your son better be a gay minority to avoid the crushing student debt that totally nullifies the six figure salary.
