At the moment it seems they have found a way to do it without Chainlink and/or Chainlink token network.

I am sorry. If Chainlink was needed they would also be featured on Sibos 2019, but this is not the case, at the moment it seems, Chainlink is irrelevant fetching the off-chain data and connecting the blockchain to real world.

Why Chainlink is not participant at the SIBOS2019 even though many other blockchain companies have already been invited?

It just seems to me absurd that if Chainlink truly is essential piece to the blockchain/smart contracts connectivity and security like HTTPS/HTTP was to Internet, why is not Fintech interested in it? Why do many other blockchain based companies getting featured on Sibos 2019, but Chainlink isn't?

SmartContract had a PoC with SWIFT that was basically using smart contracts to make a bond payment on Hyperledger. In a sense, a rather mundane application of blockchain compared to some of the more exotic ideas you read about if you've been interested in crypto for a while.

This PoC used an oracle to get interest rates, i.e., "the smart oracle" that SmartContract references on their website, but keep in mind this oracle was not Chainlink if you actually would spend 5 minutes reading the demonstration.

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network and company created after that that SWIFT has expressed no interest in, ever.

The team's exclusive focus at the moment appears to be on Ethereum (which SWIFT has expressed no interest in using, especially not on the public chain)

These are actual facts that nobody is denying, not FUDster or Shiller. This is the current state we are in.

Blockchain will be huge part of SWIFT payments in the future, but Chainlink will not be part of that equation, nor part of SIBOS conferences etc.
