Imagine paying 262 dollars to join a cult that doesnt even use the currency they promote to pay for the meal. Imagine that sitting with these guys for 2 hours rambling about how great Bitcoin is. 262 dollars without drinks and 100% dudes.

I have a better idea. Go to Fogo with your friends and spend 52 dollars for all you can eat steak like a rational human being. You might even take that cute girl out that works at the computer lab. Never know unless you try anon.

At some point you have to ask yourself how deluded some of these core supporters are. Its become a religion to these people. If they are so right on Bitcoin being the alpha and omega then why do they constantly bash other projects or disciples that left Bitcoin for other projects. Think about it.

Jimmy articulates his thought process and reasoning on why BTC is the only proof-of-work chain that matters. He is a developer who has actually contributed, and goes out of his way to educate and produce content.

All I see here is personal attacks.

Bitcoin may be the end all. Why doenst he have his net worth in it then? Same goes with pierre rochard, pompliano, and all these other cheerleaders.

They're making more money off people thru podcasts, t-shirts, and other useless shit. It's just like church.

Seriously if they are so confident why do they attack everything else? It's quite pathetic anon. Don't get duped..don't fall in love with positons. The whole market is based off of one giant ponzi scheme that is used to evaluate the value of other ponzi schemes.

I listened to a tone vays podcast and I was surprised I'm more well versed in how bitcoin functions
But he's out there and turned it into a gig so props to him but there are better people to learn from in this space

I don't believe either of them are bad people..i think they are a good launchpad for n00bs to understand.

It's when you realize that they are selling you a dream that might not manifest..that's when you draw the line..that's when you kill your idols and think independently.

I haven't listened enough to see them doing that
Didnt one of them call the short at 6k, reguardless they shouldn't give financial advice
Even old heads like therymos said bitcoin only has 10% chance at success

We'll see, bitcoin made me a lot but nothing is guaranteed
I'd buy knowing what I know but I never advise friends to buy that's up to them I'll just answer questions and discuss possibilities

Good way of thinking about it.

Remember that all this stuff is cultish at the end of the day. After being it since 2015 i think it's just one giant ponzi. Maybe after 2028 or 2032 once the ponzi fundamentals start leaving it will be more of a store or value than it is now...that or 0.0$

Yeah I think the cult helps in bear markets but talking to these people in real life is brutal
Nobody knows what will happen it needs developed more to succeed
The quiet devs contributing for free are the real heros not these "personalities"

Actually I take that back the low iq cult people hurt bitcoin and its image

If you think these goons are anything good, you're either a paid shill or you have screw loose in your head

They've morphed btc into a heaping pile of commercialized/retail shit designed to siphon money off you

Bear markets bring out all the morons because trading got hard..that's why evrryone is doing a podcast now.

>>12606649
Yeh i can see that.

The issue that i have with bitcoin is this.
1) if it's a store of value and "muh deflation" meme...well then fuck the payments and fuck lightning.
2) if it's a payment network and the economics are deflationary then why would you ever spend bitcoin?

If you think about it if bitcoin wasnt meant to be "p2p electronic cash" and instead "store of value" with the same economics...you start to realize it's a ponzi scheme.

everything said by them is actually the only rational/ realistically feasible way to grow BTC adoption further.
Didnt you utopia living guys havent enough of 10 years - pump and dump mania with crushed expectations making you suicidal?
your ancap dream of 100% worldwide BTC adoption from one day to another will never happen.
funny how the same guys cried amd craved for institutions and ETFs prepping up the bubble back in dec 2017, when it already started to pop

I think economics are debatable but what we do know is that when inflation outpaces growth thats banana republic shit and the population gets fleeced
Austrian economics is untested and bitcoin is the best experiment we have right now

It will scale into payment and contract systems with varying degrees of centralization and ease of use speed and security
These processes will be consolidated onto a mainchain that can be verified by a common person (audit the fed haha)
So to me it's an experiment and a test that's playing out every 10 minutes and hasn't failed yet

Fucking crypto faggots and their cringy obsession with meat. Yes steak is tasty. No, cooking or eating steak does not make you "alpha".
Access to meat might be a status symbol in fucking Somalia, but not in the first world.
