Can we talk about the weed industry? Companies are making giant moves all over, its clear that this is going to be the next trendy thing in the recreational and healthcare markets

So far we have crazy partnerships happening

>Canopy Growth + STZ Constellation Brands
>Cronos group + Altria
>Tilray + Budweiser
>Aurora + Coca Cola (speculation)

Other great companies doing well are Organigram, Hexo, Canntrust, Emblem and Aleafia, Radient technologies, and many others

American focused companies include Acreage Holdings, iAnthem, Green thumb industries, and MPX

There are also pre-clinical bio pharma weed stocks. I am personally bullish on these as I believe they will distrupt the Pharmaceutical industry and at the same time combat opioid addiction, killing two birrds with one stone. Tetra bio pharma, Nemus Bioscience, and Inmed Pharma come to mind

Who here /bullish/ on the DUDEWEED?

Short attack that had some truth to it. Mostly false but there was enough there with substance to shake investor confidence and temper expectations. CEO quit. Good assets though. It'll be a buy out target if nothing else.

The execs quietly made a separate company, bought up properties in latin/central american countries that are worth around $50k and super easy to get licenses in, Aphria acquired said properties+licenses for tens of millions in stock so they could quietly sell off the stock. Dumb dumbs who know nothing about the industry think those properties are still worth tens of millions. The people who think it's FUD without merit are the same who who think the execs of MedMen are legitimate

NO ONE WANTS WEED FROM "CORPORATIONS MAAAAN". It defeats the purpose of "natural medicine".

Look into natural/organic/non-gmo corporations and mom & pop shops. No DUDEWEED will buy from Budweiser, Coca Cola or Big Pharma lolll. Medical Marijuana is against pharma & corporations.

Look into organic/natural/non-gmo companies. That's where hippies will buy from.

Doesn't matter dumbfuck. Demand will sprout only organic hippie approved companies. Hippies won't buy from corporations. Certain small companies know this and won't be bought. They hold a monopoly of having no shitty reputation or shady ties, like corporations. You disgustingly stupid idiot.

You're half a retard, regulatory frameworks like Prop 64 in CA, limited license states like PA, NY, MD, IL, FL, are just eliminating small businesses from the start. Hardly any of the big corps give a shit about small operations in open license states.

>>12582833
Yes they will, they buy from Native Roots, Livwell, Jungle Boys, Oregrown, etc, stoners will buy whatever is the cheapest. No matter how much Eagle 20 was sprayed on it, or how shitty the genetics are. Of course there is still the market that pays attention to organic certifications, but it's not the everyday stoner.

And your post also implies that the biggest market will be DUDEWEED stoners. That's not true. It will be a mix of boomers and soccer moms.

I like how they make it sound as though these people aren't entitled to do whatever the fuck they want with the wealth they generated. "Haven" from whay exactly? Government that will take their money and reistribute it to niggers and peasants? Aka fucking theft?

Yes, the wealthy put their money in places where it won't be stolen. What a fucking shocker! Like its any surprise they are pro open borders "shitlibs", they are trying to destroy the countries which are constantly trying to fucking rob them!

Also weed stocks are insanely overvalued atm. Think altcoins December 2017.

Cresco Labs, Curaleaf, Trulieve, iAnthus/MPX, Green Thumb Industries. Some of these have already run pretty hard and are not in great entry positions. I think Cresco is still a good buy at current levels.

Poorly. The roll out of recreational sales in Canada has been circus. Supply shortage, supply bottleneck over the weed that's actually getting shipped to retail, Ontario won't have any brick n' mortar shops until April. BC not much better.

I turned 3$0K into $250K with weedstocks in the last few years. The brunt of it came from buying Aurora at $0.50, and about 40% came from buying small moonshot companies.

Right now there has been good money being made in the large companies. Money will begin to flow into the small caps. My current small cap play is Halo Labs, a US extraction company with massive contracts that will put their gross revenues in the $50M-$90M range. If their new products have good margin, this company stands to have a massive uptick in valuation and share price.

Don't get burned by the penny stocks. Stick with NYSE/NASDAQ like CGC CRON ACB APHA TLRY. Set tight stop limits because the swings are absurd, while I was up 10k today I've had days where I've held and loss even more. Opportunity cost is huge right now until the market is realized and stabilizes.
