Society has failed if individuals can get net worth this large. Im all for people being able to generate huge amounts of wealth, but Bezos, Buffet, Bill Gates, these people don't just have wealth they have fucking GODLIKE amounts of wealth.

They can’t. Buffet openly says that deferring capital gain tax is like getting a loan from government with 0% interest. When you have huge money tied to equities, and you keep getting reacher by dividends alone (reinvested for a while), you can’t be taxed at an usual rate. Only change can be made is to make dividend tax bracketed based on total ownership. If you have 1B asset and 1M asset, both shouldn’t be taxed at a 15% rate !
