Fellas, sharing some wisdom I figured out the last weeks with some thinking and looking at historical price movements. Western Digital and Seagate aren't tradeable pre-market. However, Micron is, and despite Micron being more exposed to DRAM than Flash, Micron's valuations are heavily influenced by institutional trader's bullishness or bearishness on Flash prices. Or they just categorize them all together as "memory makers".

This means if Micron trades down or up during the pre-market, it is a strong signal that Western Digital and Seagate will go the same way after open.

Of course, if the previous day, Micron moved very differently from Seagate and Western Digital, be cautious, as in such cases there can be a significant enough interest in "buying cheap" or "selling high" due to yesterday's price movements in a way that can affect relative price trajectories the next day.
