We recently wrapped up the crypto-themed Flower design contest, congrats to everyone that participated! Next up: Meme Contest.
Submit your best flowerpatch/nugbase memes in the #memes-and-art channel on Discord. Winners will all get dank rewards ;)

Alpha release is scheduled for Q1 2019.

Flowerpatch is a browser-based cannabis farming & cryptocurrency MMORPG currently in development. Players will manage their virtual farms through planting and harvesting Flower Cards. The FLOWER tokens (cards) - acquired through market purchases, player trades, harvesting, and breeding - are used by players to plant new and potentially unique flowers on their farms.

Harvesting a flower may yield SEED or NUG tokens and potentially a FLOWER card.
SEED tokens will be used as in-game (in-world) currency to purchase additional farming land, better farming equipment, and other items.
NUG tokens will be redeemable (like vouchers/gift cards) in the real world for real cannabis, at supported cannabis dispensaries in areas where recreational cannabis is legal.

Inspired by farming games like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft (farming/botany addons), we are hoping to build the best cannabis game in the world. The bar is pretty low desu.

You will be able to plant your flower for free, but you will need to purchase the land if you want to keep your flower safe from other players. You can still plant on unclaimed land if you want to risk players kicking them down & sending them back into your inventory.

All of the store listings are limited in quantity, so it all depends on market demand.

The game community is tiny at the moment (we only have like 150 people in our Discord), and only one p2p card sale has been made so far (two guys in our discord traded an epic for 0.5 eth with no escrow, would recommend a more trustless way of doing this in the future).

We're working on a static image preview service for the Flowers to be able to collaborate with P2P ERC721 asset-trading sites such as emoon.io or boxswap to make trustless Flower trading a reality.

We will also continuously release new flowers that introduce new genetics (in the form of cardpacks), as well as "Unique" cards with some "special stuff" ;)

We're still working out the specifics, but we want to make sure it's cheap enough to where the average joe and play.

Also all early flower holders (such as yourself) will receive some free land to start out.
