what's the point of keeping your money in a bank now that we have decentralised stable coins? mainly DAI.

like why keep your money in the bank when you can just use DAI and send $30,000 to anyone in the world in less than 12 seconds for $0.01 fee.

You also keep your money and there is no way the government can just go into your bank account and take 10% of your money (see Greece).

You can send to anyone you want without getting censored or your account frozen. And can take $500,000,000 across the border - no questions asked.

Seriously wake the fuck up you retards. You are all so fucking early to this game and yet you gamble on shitcoins or margin trade away your entire stack on Bitmex.

Because if my bank pulls a #oopsitsallgone I know exactly where to go to start claiming their inventory to recoup something. If some random chink/pajeet/bean/nigger/gypsy/roundeye pulls an exitscam with his #superstable #backedbymoneytrustme coin im shit out of luck
Add to that that I cant pay everywhere with it the way I can with my current bank cards and its a pos meme. Tf out of here with your stablecoin.

Exit scamming doesn't make sense in the context of DAI.

thats the point of a smart contract you brainlet. its all open source so you can be sure of its security given enough time.

so your saying because its shit because its not accepted anywhere.... literally what. if you are a merchant and can have a digitised QR code generator, then you can accept crypto. What merchant wouldnt add DAI as an option to pay? The only reason they don't is because they are not educated or have never heard of it. In time it will come.

#oopscodegotexploited
Someone sneakily printed 5 quadrillion and exchanged it all into crypto, making your stablecoin practically worthless.

There is 1 kind of stablecoin I could get behind, but as far as I know it doesnt exist yet (and if you fucking pajeets steal my ID im claiming 10 mil eur for it):
100% private stablecoin
Think monero + zk starks but stable and tied 1-1 to the euro or dollar, whatever the fuck you want. I want a fucking payout if someone reads this and makes it. It is my fucking idea if you chink me on this im coming for you

This is true. No reason why you can't store your savings in a stable coin on a hard wallet.

Might as well just use PayPal or some other private online banking service.
