My question is if someone has a huge buy wall up where there isn't even close to enough link in the sell order book to fill that entire buy order............

isn't the person who is putting up that huge buy wall worried that he doesn't have any link currently?

Say I learn about link the last few days and I want to buy 500k link....but then I'm like oh fuck there isn't even enough link to buy...arent I thinking shit I might not get the amount I want before it goes up big?

Please explain to a brainlet please. whats going through his head? And is he trying to keep the price from dropping or is he trying to drop it

Buy walls are usually to manipulate the price from falling. In order for other people to buy they have to buy for more than that guy or they’re going to be waiting a while. This guy doesn’t care as much about buying more LINK as he does about it not falling below that price. It’s a good sign no one is selling into it. Iron fucking hands.

This guy wants cheap LINK. It seems to me there are 2 scenarios. 1) The wall experiences strong selling pressure and he drops the wall thereby causing price to plummet allowing him some cheap linkies. 2) No one sells into the wall, indicating bullishness. Market sellers chip away at his wall but not in significant portions, but enough to make a nice profit when the price bounces upwards off the wall.
