the only reason the flippening didn't happen within months of the fork was that the market had to test what would happen with full blocks.
Now the blocks are half empty so we know how that experiment went. They will get full again eventually but then the flippening will begin.

Microsoft and Starbucks are already partnering to make microtransactions easy for customers using Bitcoin.
