Surely you would have 1 or 2 contacts at work that can give you a good reference. If that fails join the army, get sent to Japan and live a relatively easy life earning the money back to send to your kids. Ultimately joining the army or even just joining a cruise ship and working as a staffer there is a great money maker.

I wouldn't suggest killing yourself in winter, because maybe you are just going through winter depression (which is a real thing). At least wait until it's summer and re-evaluate the situation...
