Probably range sideways for a while, I've been using the last crash as an analog for a while and so far it's been pretty accurate. There's always the tail risk that this was actually more of an April 2013 and we bottom briefly and shoot to the moon again but I think that's almost entirely unlikely. I place more importance on the ETH/BTC pair than I do the ETH/USD. I've always thought of ETH/USD as a combination of two different factors so you need to understand which of the two (or both) is working in ETH/USD'S favor - the ETH strength against the BTC, and the BTC strength against the USD. A lot of the moves in ETH/USD can be boiled down to BTC moving up or down. ETH/BTC pair bounced very strong off of the prior low area and has turned down a bit recently. My gut tells me the rally isn't done yet but I don't have much conviction so I just prepare for chop. Could be a short-term pullback because BTC longs are at pretty high levels despite the muted price action, and usually when positioning flips more than 10k btc net short/long the price goes the other way

ETH/BTC bounced at some pretty solid support, and it bounced hard

In my prior image, the green is finex margin longs and the red is finex margin shorts. White line is aggregate net/short positioning. Note that every time it peaked over 10k net long it was almost immediately followed by a catastrophic crash.
