How are you guys going to do your taxes this year? I have so many trades I have no idea what to do.

>> No.12369938

bitcoin.tax it is pretty simple but you have to pay $30 if you have a lot of trades.

Gee whiz, if only there were some kind of invention that could store data and do computations on it. I'd call it computator. Maybe someone could program an app since regular P.C.s can only into word processing and surfing the internet amirite.

What app can do computations for trades that use multiple different exchanges often with incompatible excel files

>> No.12370348

Prob just do taxes based on amount I've cashed out or if I traded on any US exchanges (coinbase). Def not bothering with the thousands of bitmex/binance trades.

I have thousands of binance trades from scalping, theres no fucking way to calculate the tiny percentage laws and gains. I'll deal with it if I ever cash out, pay in good faith only when profits are realized. Have no gains to show for it anyways frankly I'm doing them a favor not asking for more capital loss rebates.

>> No.12370991

Going to just report anything I cashed out as income. I didn't have any capital gains anyway. All losses. Like a fucking lot of loses.

I'm in Canada so none but if there was a crypto tax then I still wouldn't pay it, there will be a way around it, that's the point of crypto

Fuck it, we should all make the gov't pour over thousands of pages to show a $276 gain in crypto for each of us - maybe that will get their dick out if our ass

The IRS is shutdown, if the shutdown lasts past when taxes are due then no one will owe any taxes, that's how it works.

I submitted over 1,250 pages (paper copy) to the IRS last year for my taxes for my crypto trading. I pity the person who had to go through all that. I wasn't audited. And I plan on doing the same again this year.
