This guy explained it well.

When the price makes a new high but RSI makes a new low. It is the sign of the bears getting stronger. Same rules apply if price makes a new low but RSI makes a higher low. Means that bulls are gaining strength. Basically if RSI does not follow the price movement something is cooking, and the strength of the move that's cooking is calculated by how much the difference is.

Check pic for a classic example. RSI divergences are very important and great in crypto.

LTC/USD still looks good. The thing is LTC/BTC has major bearish divergence on RSI.

The graph you posted that was mine showed an entry at 3600 levels which is still amazing. You would've been up 11% just from $BTC since that entry.

I posted just now that I'm sensing some bearish signals, but I highly highly doubt we will make new lows. I think it's a pullback to 3900 levels for a retest and after that the breakout.

I don't see any major bear divergence on daily / weekly charts. In fact OBV of daily still seems strong and increasing. The divergence that I'm spotting is on lower time frames which is why I think we're going to have a minor pullback.

Longs are very high compared to shorts, which means a long squeeze is also possible.

I take all of these into account, I just don't show them all into the charts and honestly don't think they play as big of a role as price action and formations.

If it ain't your position I don't see the reason why you're posting it. The guy should've closed his short pos at 3600 like I told him to. If what you're implying is that the price will go below 3600 after the recent bull movements that is the only logical explanation of keeping that short pos. Which I very, very highly doubt at this point + he could've closed his short pos than predicting the bounce and opened up a new one now.

Daily RSI still has a lot of room to work with.

I'm liking XEM. Recently got some bids filled at 1600 and I'm willing to buy more as low as until 1533.

Here is how I fill my bids when I find a good range to accumulate a coin.

Let's say I'm going to put 1 BTC in and my plan is to accumulate from 1700 to 1500.

0.05 bid at 1700

0.10 bid at 1675

0.10 bid at 1650

0.15 bid at 1625

0.20 bid at 1600

0.20 bid at 1575

0.20 bid at 1550.

Not always like this, but you get the idea. I buy more as price goes down. This way when the bull move that I'm expecting happens my losses from previous higher buys are turning into profits quickly.

If the bull move happens before it fills all my bids, I evaluate whether it would be good to market buy some (depending on strength of move) and if not I just ride it out with the bids that got filled.

No, but I trade a low marketcap coin much differently than high marketcap one.

Usually high marketcap coins don't have insane rallies in a day or two and then dump back to same levels. Most of the time they star showing trend divergence and start getting healthier by the second until important resistances.

Lowcap coins are wildcards and much easier to manipulate. They can have insane pumps under 30 minutes and go back to where they were before afterwards.

Low cap coins with great setups can pump much higher. We had a DGD setup i posted few threads ago that pumped from 4250 to 6200 in a matter of hours.

50% trade, not that easy with highcap coins.

Either way it's all a game to acquire more BTC / USDT.

Playing with real money is a great way to control your emotions. With paper trading you don't really feel that bad when you lose money. With real money as a beginnner you fomo into trades, you take profits too early, you place bad bids that keep on going down, you fud out of trades.

These are all very valuable experiences.
