Go and socialize, that's what normies do. You will get connections. You are confusing work interactions with friendships, nobody expects to be friends, just being polite.
You know those people with connections? They went to their share of happy hours where they pretended to be interested in conversation.

Right there with ya OP, I’ll force myself to engage in some small talk here and there about the weather or weekend plans but for the most part I keep to myself, don’t eat lunch with the majority and always decline going to a bar after work with coworkers. Why would I want to let loose and slip up and say something that goes against NPC/politically correct group think after hours that could potentially effect my job? I can’t even begin to describe how much I don’t give a shit about the nigger ball score or about Kim Kardashian’s latest Instagram post that seems to be some of the recurring taking points of my fellow wagies.

Sounds like everyone is lucky to not have you around them.

I work as part of a team of around 25+ people.

Most of them are downright insufferable. Our personalities differ so much. Whenever we speak its like chemicals reacting negatively to each other.

My reply to their comments just seems wrong, and they have nothing to say to my comments.

Occasionally there is a person i can hold a conversation with, and it wont feel too forced.

There is ONE, exactly ONE person who i can talk openly with, no limits talk like racism, sex, politically incorrect stuff, banter, insulting each other with no remorse, not afraid to let autism level show

So yeah, if you have a good personality, are honest and pure of heart, then its difficult to make friends.
