Chaos Edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Ah, funny enough I use a squatty potty to replicate that posture in the U.S.

Last time I actually had to shit like that was in the Mongolian countryside in a shit shack that looked like the one in Slumdog Millionaire. Another time I had to go in a horrific outdoor/walled shit house on the side of a highway in rural XinJiang. Smelling it from 30 feet away made me instantly throw up. Another time I was camping in either Pennsylvania or Virginia and had to dig a hole in the ground. That was actually pleasant in a way.

Of you think stock market is going down, all in on SOXS. If you think it’s headed up, all in on SOXL. With 100 bucks you could make more with SOXS since you could get three shares and profit is potentially higher for all three. You could only buy 1 share on SOXL if it’s headed up but if it’s right you could flip it right away for a quick little bit of more cash. SOXL was +%17 today. (The other one is the inverse so -17% today). Big moves are bound to happen in near future. One of those will be profitable.
...Choose wisely, senpai.
Also you could do out of money calls/shorts for nearish term future (less than 2 months from now, and not that out of the money if possible) on any of the big techs (fb, Twitter, etc). And again hope that you picked right. If you’re right immediately you should try and sell ASAP. Don’t hold if you’re not right immediately 100 bucks will turn to zero very quickly with that type of time horizon and the money you have to spend.

yeah he's fucked up massively, chavez was a far more flexible and pragmatic leader. Maduro doesn't know how to run things, just how to consolidate control. WM, HON, SMG, various things like that

if you want an easy way then just find an index you like (DIA, SPY, QQQ) then buy individual stocks you like from that, omitting the worse off stocks or companies you dont like
you could just buy one or two from each sector in pic related

(personally id avoid some things like banks, since a few should have died off in 2008, major videogames like ATVI or EA since i hate their current products and the direction they are headed in, and autos since the 7-8 year cycle that autos follow is nearing the bottom, so better buys will be around in a few years)

more stocks (somewhere between 50 to 200) is statistically better, look up Brownian motion, and modeling stocks with it (i think Monte Carlo projections are based on this modeling assumption?)

imaginary workers would do an even worse job than real people, regardless of who they are

the point is he has no oil company workers to work there
military crew is better than no crew at all, it is his only option
sure in an ideal world he would have enough workers to run the company without untrained military labor, but the demand curve is fucked, since the old skill workers are not being replaced with new ones (and more than just old age is causing this drain of supply (skilled labor), while demand keeps on going up)

>If trump tries to invade venezeula, as he has wanted to in the past, it'd be a shitshow of epic proportions.
source? there is no reason whatsoever for US to invade, eventually people will revolt when things dont get better (if the general populace doesnt, then the military eventually WILL)
and its been a shitshow of epic proportions for a couple years now, and the shittiness keeps on accelerating

its gotten to the point that many in the UNASUR, and latin america as a whole, are beginning to ponder an invasion if only to stop the massive migrant crises that venezuala is causing it's neighbors

also if any part of the american government has done something to exacerbate the situation, its congress and the legislative branch, Trump;s executive branch hadnt even done as much against the current regime as Obama's did

That's simply not true the reason I brought up the union was because they were specifically quoted in the Reuters article on this topic, regular workers do the legwork, even as they are more often forced to contract to outsiders. The military doesn't do the grunt work, they just manage.
